How many long term (6 months or more) romantic relationships have you had in your life?

I am 45. I have had 5 long term (6 months or longer) romantic relationships in my life (including my husband who I have been with for 15 years). I don't think that is a lot but my best friend does. Is this about normal (also had many years being single, so it all evens out).

3 when I was age 15 to 22
Then DH for the last 23 years

I’m 45. I’ve had 2 long-term relationships.

8 but I am 55

Ex boyfriend - 4 years (from 15 years old till 18 years old nearly 19)
Current boyfriend & father of my DD - currently 3 years (from 19 years old till current age).

1. First lasted 18 months and resulted in a son. Second for 29 years and counting and have second son aged 25 now.p

My relationships :
Current - 21 years, not married.
previous - 20 years , 19 married .
probably a few more lasting a few months to 6 monthscan't remember

I’m 34 and had 2

20 and 3

Two. One lasted five years, and I've been with DH 32 years.

Ive had 2 and im 33

First was 18 to 31
Current one just over a year

2 and I'm the same age as you. 5 seems a lot to me but each to their own......

Four:
Age 16-20. Obviously not “proper” for the first 2-3 years, as we were at school and living with parents.
Age 21-24. Hopefully he’s dead now, nuff said.
Age 27-36. Long distance for the first 3-4 years, weekend visits only. Then moved in together.
Age 36-44 (now). Moved in together after just over a year. Engaged after 5 years, married a year after that.

3 and I'm 31.

First was as a young teen, my first love for around 6 months.

Second from 17-22 and what a lucky escape that was!

Third is my husband together for nearly 8 years and married for a few months.

1. One for 9 months at 18 - he moved abroad and second dh 49 years and will have been married for 48 years this week - I am 68.

In my mid 50s. One relationship for 3 years. The next 20 years. Since divorcing one serious relationship for 15 months.

35 and I’ve had 7.

Never married. One engagement. Seem to run at the sight of a ring..

Saying that, the one i would have married is a one that I’ve not counted on the above. Off and on for 8 years.

1. I’m 35.

First boyfriend aged 16-23. DH aged 24- now.

A semi wild 8 months between the 2!

I'm 33 and ive had 7 which now sounds like a lot reading this 😕

(And i am STILL single 😭)

9 that were at least six months. Is that the most on this thread?? I'm only 36. DH and I have been together 11 years and my ex and I were together 5 years, and I consider those to be the only long term relationships I've had. 6 months doesn't seem to be a long time, really. More like just the right amount to time to determine you don't fancy them that much. 😁

3, the third being my husband who I’ve been with for 9 years. I’m 40.

I don’t think 5 sounds like a lot particularly.

I have had 2.

18-19- 8 months
19-36 (and still going).

Two. I’m 40 in March and have been with my husband for nearly 12 years and was with a previous boyfriend for a year. Any other relationships have been under six months.

Husband aged 22 to 33

Nothing since, and I'm 50 now

And only those two, no-one else. I'm very lonely.
