I've bought a new bed for the dog.

'Large' size, allegedly suitable for large dogs like labradors etc.

Thought she'd really like it as she isn't allowed on the leather sofa.

My 15kg dog barely fits on it..

I am just so disappointed, DH thinks it's fine.

That'll learn me for buying online I suppose, I should have bought one I could see in the shop.

Don't know if it'll be worth my while returning it with the postage.

Danceitout what is it with terriers and sleeping on feet/legs?? Mine does that, on top of quilt to start with then under quilt during the night, she is a fidget though. Loving the dozing dog pics

I bought my dog a fancy new pink fur and leather bed with her name on it in satin embroidery, twas a beautiful site to behold.

She walked over to it while I beamed and cooed encouragement ...and shit in it!

Just be glad you have dogs not cats who will ignore any nice bed you buy them and sleep in whichever slightly too small and preferably tatty cardboard box they come across.

And if you're like me and daft enough like me to pander to them, it leaves your living room look like a cross between a cat sanctuary and a despatch office.

@Schaden, yes! DD has a staffie, and I can't believe the vocabulary she has - everything from contented chicken to demon baby. It's quite disconcerting sometimes!

Aw loving the Staffie love here, makes a change from the crap I usually read on social media! @SchadenfreudePersonified my staffie girl is very vocal and loves a fuss. She loves to sit on laps, legs and feet! Here she is enjoying a sofa nap with the cat, and curled up in her bed
