I've bought a new bed for the dog.

'Large' size, allegedly suitable for large dogs like labradors etc.

Thought she'd really like it as she isn't allowed on the leather sofa.

My 15kg dog barely fits on it..

I am just so disappointed, DH thinks it's fine.

That'll learn me for buying online I suppose, I should have bought one I could see in the shop.

Don't know if it'll be worth my while returning it with the postage.

Send it back and accept loss of postage. It doesn’t look snuggly at all, all hard and slippery. TK Max often have good comfy ones.

That's true, Schadenfreude, she is excellent at fighting, growling, random barking and chasing anything smaller than she is. She'd like five counts of 'shredding paper' and one of 'trying to attack the collie across the road' to be taken into account.

Dogs are adapt at getting themselves comfortable in a small space so I wouldnt worry

I must admit that bed looks quite uncomfortable (and too small) - I buy my doggie danish design beds and they last a lifetime. I got her the Retreat Eco-Wellness Duvet in grey and duck egg blue as it looks good in the kitchen.. they have removable covers which are washable and have memory foam inners so are really supportive etc. I have a very large basset hound and she prefers these to a bed as can stretch right out in them. The first one I bought her lasted me about 6 years and outlasted any other bed I purchased.

Get a bespoke one made for about £300, pricey but they look like expensive furniture and your gorgeous dog will live them. If you cant afford to fork out there are pay weekly companies that do carpets and furniture they sell made to order for beds for £10 week? P.s your dog is beautiful
