Hello all, just caught myself reminiscing about all the good times spent in fields and warehouses during my youth so would like some fellow cheesy quavers to come and talk about your best times so I feel less alone in big fish, little fish-ing in my living room.

Also Sin then later on the Crazy Club at the Astoria. We would always hop up onto the tables in the galleried bit where the seats were (was an old cinema/theatre?) to dance and the bouncers would tell you to get off the tables and as soon as their backs were turned, straight back up there again. Grin

Favourite DJs were Mr. C, Dr S Gachet, Pigbag, Colin Dale, Frankie Bones, Evil Eddie Richards, Fabio and Grooverider.

I'll stop now Grin

Did anyone used to go to Crystal Palace Sports centre for Reincarnation and ravelation nights? Or Roller Express Lea valley trading estate?

StopMegxit · 10/01/2020 17:39

I loved Elevation at roller express in Lea Valley. ‘MC MC on the mic!’ Grin

@SpamChaudFroid

I had some dodgy mixtapes from Dr S Gachet and Fab & Groove that I bought off a stall in Camden market Grin.

Also loved DJ Hype.

dustybluebell · 10/01/2020 22:55

@StopMegxit had some of my best nights there. Were you there for the engagement party? MC MC to Dj Rap. One of my best nights ever.
Also loved Gachet.

StopMegxit · 11/01/2020 21:01

Oh my God, yes! @dustybluebell

Raving royalty getting engaged, it was so exciting! Grin. I absolutely loved those nights.

I started going to raves in Stoke in 1994, I think. Club Kinetic, it was fucking ace! We'd all be off our heads, and sweat that much with dancing and drugs that we would always take fresh clothes for the way home. 😊 Also had amazing times in the Edinburgh gay clubs in the noughties. I miss clubbing ( and drugs) but I'm old and a Mum and I still have my memories 🤩❤

NewtonPulsifer · 12/01/2020 01:34

This brings back memories, I can never remember the names of clubs, but do remember Miss Moneypennies and Bakers in Brum from staying with a cousin.
Had many a fantastic time in fields raving all night. My kids would be horrified if they knew, thank fuck there is no photo evidence

Anyone else feel slightly distressed that our youth is now deemed 'history'? Grin

Clareg998 · 03/11/2020 13:36

Don't worry, I have a friend doing a history dissertation that ends in 2007...And another doing the 11th century, so it doesn't mean much!
