Workhouses or the death penalty? I can see the People's Government deciding that either or both would be a good way to further entrench their power...

What are the odds? 1 - 700 trillion?

poseysbobblehat · 13/12/2019 19:07

Hanging

HoHoHoik · 13/12/2019 19:08

I don't think the death penalty could ever be brought back, even Johnson isn't that much of a twat.

Work house though... it'll have a jazzy new name such as Employment Preparation Centre or Citizen Living Support Shelter but it could be a goer.

Justcallmebebes · 13/12/2019 19:10

Give it a rest now pet

Horriblehhenrietta · 13/12/2019 19:11

Priti Patel already advocated the death penalty.

thistimelastweek · 13/12/2019 19:13

You're being silly.
Why have workhouses when you can just throw people on the street?

Barnseyboyo · 13/12/2019 19:14

Ffs. Labour voters are starting to sound deranged now.

1Morewineplease · 13/12/2019 19:15

Yes... I agree with @HoHoHoik .

Universal Credit Transition Centre.
Unemployed Empowerment Service.
Homeless Utilisation Collective.

Didntwanttochangemyname · 13/12/2019 19:15

This is all getting a bit silly now. Calm down and get some perspective please.

YouTheCat · 13/12/2019 19:16

It could happen.

Bluntness100 · 13/12/2019 19:17

Maybe time for a lie down op in a darkened room.

SilverySurfer · 13/12/2019 19:18

Pathetic

I’m pretty sure you can only use the people with a capital P when referring to left wing matters.

Saucery · 13/12/2019 19:20

Give over.

BarbaraStrozzi · 13/12/2019 19:22

Seriously?

This sort of absurd hyperbole on the part of the far left is part of the reason (part note, not all of it) which made people so pissed off with Corbyn and Momentum they voted against them.

In the nicest possible way, have a cup of camomile tea, a bit of a lie down in a darkened room, then have a think about how we shift the grip Momentum has on the PLP and make Labour electable again.

SeamstressfromTreacleMineRoad · 13/12/2019 19:23

I've been saying this for a couple of years, as they've slowly turned the screw on the disabled, the sick, the poor. Jacob Rees-Mogg is almost salivating...😩

HoHoHoik · 13/12/2019 19:23

Do all the people (People?) commenting that its pathetic and to give it a rest think the thread is serious? Did the lack of "lighthearted" trigger you? Or are you generally just miserable fuckers who can't bear the thought of anyone taking a wry side swipe at life?

HoHoHoik · 13/12/2019 19:24

Is Jacob Rees-Mogg capable of salivating? He looks so dry he's practically desiccated.

JacquesHammer · 13/12/2019 19:25

Hunting

Chloemol · 13/12/2019 19:26

Here we go

HoHoHoik · 13/12/2019 19:26

Hunting. Good one, it's been a while so the ban.

Foxes or benefit claimants?

CendrillonSings · 13/12/2019 19:27

You know you lost the election because of making this kind of stuff up, right?

Yetanotherwinter · 13/12/2019 19:27

@ReanimatedSGB melodramatic much!!

ilovesooty · 13/12/2019 19:29

I sincerely hope there is never a referendum on reinstating capital punishment.
