AIBU?
to wear a onesie on a long haul flight?

I'm frightened of flying and taking my first ever long haul flight on Saturday! 17hrs straight to Perth. I am packing everything I can think of to make my journey comfortable but am wondering if IABU to wear a onesie on the plane? I have scoliosis so I wriggle into weird positions a lot which makes jeans feel uncomfortable sitting for long periods...yet I find in leggings I get incredibly cold on planes. My late mum bought me a super soft spotty onesie...WIBU to wear it over leggings and a singlet once we board or will I look insane?!
Am I being unreasonable?

DP said they give out blankets but (and I know how precious this sounds) I find I get really annoyed by little cold drafts! I don't know if it because am really underweight at the moment for health reasons but I find sitting for any period of time little chinks in a blanket have me freezing! So a onesie is like wearing the blanket

Nothing against wearing a onesie, but they are very impractical when you need to visit the toilet.
There's very few experiences worse than a 17 hour flight. But having to use a cramped plane toilet whilst wearing a onesie, and the inevitable stripping off that entails is pretty close.

You will have to unzip and pull it down to use the loo, and chances are the loo floor won't be at all sanitary.
Also, the whole thing has to come off if you have a spill or if someone spills on you.
Loose yoga pants are a better idea, with a long sleeved T-shirt and light, zipped hoodie.
