AIBU?

I can't watch the leaders debate tonight. I'm too angry.

I'm too angry about brexit. And the effect it'll have on us all. I can see a tory majority happening and it sickens me. I don't know what's happened to ordinary people. They've fell for something that will make their lives worse, sold to them by an elite that has shafted them.

I can't fucking bare it.

BJ doing much better than JC so far.

Absolutely sack being the presenter lady.

THANK YOU MR JOHNSON

YANBU. I have had to avoid it.

I have such a bad feeling about the election, the result and the aftermath.

I disagree Xenia, the audience have laughed at BJs answers a helluva lot

Report

EverdeRose · 19/11/2019 20:34

Even JC's glasses don't have any trust in him and seem to be trying to escape his face.

How can a party that has always stood up for the working classes get it so wrong with JC. He makes BJ look relatable.

I don’t understand how Corbyn can just get away with not revealing his stance on Brexit. It’s fucking ridiculous.

No way is bj doing better than jc

Report

paintedfences · 19/11/2019 20:35

I don't know, BJ is failing quite badly at the moment. He's not answering questions st all well while JC is snapping out responses. It's quite impressive.

VenusStarr · 19/11/2019 20:35

Are you watching the same debate as me @Xenia? BJ can't give a straight answer and keeps interrupting everyone.

Corbyn is kicking bottom.

The same way that Johnson studiously avoids talking about personal integrity.

crispysausagerolls · 19/11/2019 20:36

snapping out responses

What responses?! He won’t answer questions directly

Report

zaffa · 19/11/2019 20:36

@Xenia I don't think so - he hasn't answered a single point! Totally glossed over the q on personal integrity in particular (I wonder why....) admit JC is not directly answering whether he is pro leave or remain, but I take that to mean that he will negotiate the best deal possible for us and then let people decide - I personally would prefer him not to campaign for either of those positions should that ref happen as it's all just spin at that point. And he is at least capable of engaging with others in the room. BJ is coming across as an absolute embarrassment.

I'm watching tomorrow after a good night's sleep. Brexit anxiety is real 😢

Report

Twillow · 19/11/2019 20:36

I don't get why he won't say, it's not doing him any favours. I'd go with "it's not about what I want, it's my job to co-ordinate what the people want" - on record he is a eurosceptic though.
Johnson is doing worse by the minute though. The audience are starting to laugh at him.

BJ was coming across as an outright bully, bulldozing his words over the presenter and JC!!

Report

EverdeRose · 19/11/2019 20:38

Zaffa

I'd prefer to stick with the referendum result we already have. His stance on another referendum shows he's a remainer and arrange a shit deal so he can get his own agenda.
