I'm too angry about brexit. And the effect it'll have on us all. I can see a tory majority happening and it sickens me. I don't know what's happened to ordinary people. They've fell for something that will make their lives worse, sold to them by an elite that has shafted them.

I can't fucking bare it.

BJ doing much better than JC so far

In what alternative universe were you watchingConfused

Johnson was a blithering repetitive car crash from the off

Mamasaurus82 · 19/11/2019 21:32

crispysausagerolls, I don't think dadshere meant to insult you personally, but the point he makes is quite right- Corbyn has been honest about his stance and it IS straight forward.

CherryPlum · 19/11/2019 21:34

Boris did look a bit like he was on something, strangely vacant looking staring eyes

Saz432 · 19/11/2019 21:34

BJ doing much better than JC so far

I don’t think you watched the same debate as the rest of the country.

Whatever your personal opinions going into this, no one could possibly argue that BJ performed well there at all. He’s an embarrassment.

PinkiOcelot · 19/11/2019 21:35

@KamikazeIdiot if this is such a ridiculous site, why are you lowering yourself to be on it?!!
I’m seriously worried. I don’t want to vote for either of those clowns. I wish it wasn’t always such a 2 horse race!

RockinHippy · 19/11/2019 21:35

I don’t understand how Corbyn can just get away with not revealing his stance on Brexit. It’s fucking ridiculous.

He DIDConfused

His stance is to work out a deal & then let the people decide on that deal to leave, or to remain. This time based on truth not lies, you know like should have happened the first time round.

Saz432 · 19/11/2019 21:36

Rest of the U.K.: Boris Johnson can’t get through a sentence without a lie or a gaffe

MN poster: Am v confused by the increased wonkiness and glare on Corbyn's glasses.

Good to know we are focussing on the real issues 😂

Saz432 · 19/11/2019 21:37

They knew they wanted out before any campaigning even started

Indeed. Before they had any idea what a catastrophe it would be. And they don’t care.

JKScot4 · 19/11/2019 21:38

If you can go to bed tonight comfortable with voting Tory, I truly hope you never find yourself in need of support or caring for an elderly or disabled person when you’ll vote for a party that has caused 1000s of deaths with their cuts. It’s not a personality competition; pathetic comments about glasses, weight, ears ffs stop coming across as stupid little women and think about the better of everyone not your bloody bank balance.
A lot of comments on here are cringable in their sheer stupidity.

LadyTamaraBeauchamp · 19/11/2019 21:41

@KamikazeIdiot

That person you are ridiculing May be dyslexic- have more compassion!

Clangus00 · 19/11/2019 21:42

Disgusting that Nicola Sturgeon & Jo Swinson were denied the chance to participate. Mind you, Nicola is getting enough mentions, but unfair she has no chance of rebuttal.

theduchessstill · 19/11/2019 21:43

This is absolutely disgusting. I'd love to see the usual suspects on here defending this behaviour...

Saz432 · 19/11/2019 21:45

I saw that they’d renamed their twitter “FactCheckUK” - what kind of idiot could trust this party? They are beyond belief.

Royallyscrewed · 19/11/2019 21:46

Did anyone else think the Christmas Carol gift dig was a thing of beauty?
Think what you will of JC but an insult so subtly delivered doesn’t happen very often.
And since bo jos only response to this piece of wit was fucking damson jam it was the highlight of my evening.

Soen · 19/11/2019 21:46

Boris is concerned about one issue and one issue only. He goes on the attack every opportunity he gets. Play the ball, Boris, not the person. I'm voting labour.

OhMyDarling · 19/11/2019 21:47

I can’t watch either.
People seem to have fallen under BJs xenophobic (and the rest) spell. Nothing he says is true. It’s been proven over and over and over and over again.
He isn’t even loyal to his children, let alone our country.

Gone2far · 19/11/2019 21:47

I had to turn off when she made them shake hands. It still makes me wither inside to think of it

theduchessstill · 19/11/2019 21:49

Did anyone else think the Christmas Carol gift dig was a thing of beauty?

Yes - I was bracing myself for cringy attempts at humour but that answer was inspired. Johnson's on the other hand...

Solihooley · 19/11/2019 21:50

Yes the Christmas carol thing was absolutely brilliant.

I can’t believe the conservative twitter account name change. I feel like that should be some kind of fraud. Aren’t they already being investigated for offering honours to the Brexit party?

happinessischocolate · 19/11/2019 21:51

Felt a bit sorry for Jc there, he was outclassed and on the back foot from the start, his brexit policy is just too unclear, and then he started talking shite about selling the nhs which Johnson put to bed immediately.

Labour's brexit policy is very easy to understand, if you still don't get it then I'm not sure anyone can help.

And if you believe Johnson when he says he has no intentions of selling off any of the NHS then you are pretty naive.

dadshere · 19/11/2019 21:53

Many of the people I work with voted remain, some voted leave, but not a single person I have spoken to has anything more than a rudimentary grasp of what it means. People voted on a feeling of what they thought was right. I don't like the demonisation of leave voters, branding them all as racists and idiots but I think that a second vote would be helpful. In my organisation, a bad brexit will almost certainly involve some people losing jobs. A good brexit or remain will hopefully mean that doesn't happen. We employ over 50 people on our main site from eastern europe, the level of racism directed at some of them since this all started is unbelievable. 10 years ago, the UK, at least here where I live was one of the most welcoming and inclusive places in the world. Now, we have had people tell our staff to "F-off back to romania". One of my colleagues has a PhD and is very-well respected and known in her field. Based solely on her accent ( I presume) she was asked if she would be able to find cleaning work back in her own country when she had to leave because of brexit. She speaks 5 languages has guest lectured at some of the best universities in Europe and is one of the smartest people I know. Brexit and the anti-immigrant climate it has fostered has emboldened people to just say whatever they want no matter how hurtful.

MustardScreams · 19/11/2019 21:53

Jeremy absolutely rinsed Johnson, which I wasn’t expecting at all to be completely honest.

Bozo just mumbling and ‘errr errr err-ing’ about Brexit constantly. No other decent policies, nothing else of standing. Personal attacks aren’t going to feed the 4 million children in poverty.

Looking forward to the next one now.

longtimelurkerhelen · 19/11/2019 21:53

I don’t understand how Corbyn can just get away with not revealing his stance on Brexit. It’s fucking ridiculous

It doesn't matter what his personal stance is on brexit. They are there to do the will of the people, not their own personal agenda.

I thought it was well known that he would rather leave the EU, he consistently voted against joining in 1975, maastricht treaty, the lisbon treaty etc

dirtyrottenscoundrel · 19/11/2019 21:54

Ahh, but Scrooge turned out to be lovely in the end.....Wink
