I can't watch the leaders debate tonight. I'm too angry.

I'm too angry about brexit. And the effect it'll have on us all. I can see a tory majority happening and it sickens me. I don't know what's happened to ordinary people. They've fell for something that will make their lives worse, sold to them by an elite that has shafted them.

I can't fucking bare it.

Shoppingwithmother · 19/11/2019 20:38

I definitely think Boris Johnson is winning so far

AgnesNaismith · 19/11/2019 20:38

It’s pronounced Ishoo NOT ISSSSUE Angry

Chilver · 19/11/2019 20:38

Sorry, 'is coming across..'

AgnesNaismith · 19/11/2019 20:39

And so I had to stop watching.

LagunaBubbles · 19/11/2019 20:39

For someone not allowed on the programme he's mentioned Nicola Sturgeon half a dozen times. And slagged off Scottish Independence. All good, he's helping the cause for it.

Mamasaurus82 · 19/11/2019 20:39

BJ is more relaxed as he shits all over ordinary working people. JC is concerned and taking this seriously. It's a shame that some will vote for the clown who has lied time and time again and whose party has destroyed so many lives. I really hope people will vote for a real human who cares about real people

GlitterToast · 19/11/2019 20:40

The presenter is very weak.

dirtyrottenscoundrel · 19/11/2019 20:40

BJ seems far more confident.

MissingLinker · 19/11/2019 20:40

So far, I think JC has presented himself far better than BJ. The only issue I take so far is the way he addressed the question of anti semitism in the labour party. I feel he should have owned up to that and admitted that he hasn't done enough in that regard.

BJ on the other hand has consistently been a bumbling mess. I don't think there's been one question so far when he's given a straight answer without going "But Corbyn hasn't..."

Sammy867 · 19/11/2019 20:41

The only party I feel has ideas not too dissimilar from the way I currently feel now are the Green Party to be honest but I doubt they’ll make much progress as they aren’t even really spoken about even though they are a firm remainer party. Torys and labour are too aggravating to watch

paintedfences · 19/11/2019 20:41

@crispysausagerolls he's avoided a few to be fair but he is a politician! BJ has avoided 3x more he just keeps going on about Brexit.

RedRec · 19/11/2019 20:41

You would think that Corbyn could at least put his glasses on straight. Ffs.

Oliversmumsarmy · 19/11/2019 20:43

They've fell for something that will make their lives worse, sold to them by an elite that has shafted them

All the people I know who voted leave didn’t have anything sold to them.

They knew they wanted out before any campaigning even started

crispysausagerolls · 19/11/2019 20:43

I am fine with Boris continuing to ask Corbyn about Brexit - because it’s unbelievable for someone running for PM to not have a definitive stance on the key issue for the country at this time.

I would honestly rather have a politician who gives a yes or no answer, even if it’s “wrong“, rather than refusing to answer. It’s shady AF.

Fucking 4 day week?! Corbyn is living in dreamland

Parker231 · 19/11/2019 20:44

Boris is struggling. He doesn’t know his material. Comes across as an idiot.

zaffa · 19/11/2019 20:44

@EverdeRose It's good that the deal on the table is what you voted for and wanted, but I do believe that a lot of people didn't vote for a border in the Irish Sea or for the extra £350m not to be given to the NHS as promised. So therefor I do think it's fair that people are given the choice on whether they want those things before we go too far, or indeed given a choice between the actual deal on the table or stay.

GlitterToast · 19/11/2019 20:45

The signal has broke for me?

everythingisginandroses · 19/11/2019 20:46

Alexander Johnson is a fat, rude FUCK.

dirtyrottenscoundrel · 19/11/2019 20:47

The bloody clapping is ruining the debate.,

VenusStarr · 19/11/2019 20:48

I don't think he can help that his ears aren't aligned @RedRec

ChickenNuggetsChipsAndBeans · 19/11/2019 20:48

Boris talks over the presenter and comes across as rude.

RedSheep73 · 19/11/2019 20:49

Yanbu. I have no intention of watching any of them. There is literally nothing BJ could do or say that would ever make me vote Tory. And we all know he lied every time he opens his mouth. So why bother?

RainfallfromAnotherPlanet · 19/11/2019 20:49

God I wish the audience would stop clapping like performing seals.
Johnson is removing any doubt about how useless he is.
Corbyn impressive.

IMHO

CallmeAngelina · 19/11/2019 20:50

Did she REALLY just ask them to shake hands????!!!!

WTF? Does she think she's in a school playground? (Yes, probably is).

IfIShouldFallFromGraceWithGod · 19/11/2019 20:51

The Tories are never held up account for their messes. Look at the state of the country
All BJ can do is try to deflect onto slagging JC off or soundbites
I wish JC would hold him to account for the mess our country is in
