Pornhub is one of the most mainstream porn sites going. If you watch porn on a mainstream channel, you may well be watching a child or a woman who is being exploited.

That means you are ok with getting your rocks off directly watching a woman, or possibly a child, being exploited and/or sexually abused/raped.

I think there are acceptable forms of porn, but they are pretty niche and pretty small scenes, normally related to a non mainstream fetish

I once watched a documentary in fascination that a woman was doing porn with her partner. She wasn’t young either. In her 30’s. Very switched on. Telling people not to try this at home, how they do it etc. They were American and in the US. My understanding was that it was regulated and all participants were willing and not on drugs.

I dont think anyone knows the actual stats of those that go into porn by choice and those that are trafficked into it. I have worked in sexual health and we got a fair few porn workers through the door needing a 'clean bill of health' certificate (a certificate to say they're free of any STIs). Its not as uncommon as you think.

Also OP - its ridiculous to suggest that ALL porn is representative of this poor 15 year old.

Yes, but do you think the vast majority of them do use good judgement? If people can't be trusted to care about whether they are making or watching porn featuring trafficked, underage and vulnerable people, then no, it shouldn't be allowed to be made and people shouldn't be entitled to watch it.

There are many, many people working in and around the porn industry trying to ensure that it is safe, ethical and all the rest of it.
At least part of the issue with Pornhub is that it is about as moderated as Twitter - so any random can upload footage. Including those who have filmed scenes without the permission of participants (for either the filming or the activities filmed) - and also those who have created material with consenting adults and had it ripped off by someone else.

The fact that some people enjoy creating sexually explicit entertainment and others enjoy watching it no more makes those people responsible for the abusive behaviour of others than going to a wedding means you condone domestic violence.

Production of content should be strictly licensed and made to the highest possible standards.

There is nothing shameful about sex or about adults enjoying all things erotic and sexual.
