Nooo of course we all have various items to lay out casually on the bed for looks, didn't you know that?

Not a variety of clothes, kids, pets or just a bare, made bed 😀.

I have 5 pillows on my bed and use them all to prop myself up comfortably to read etc. but I do line them up neatly after I've made the bed. For aesthetics. No straw hats though!

I like to make my bed properly in the morning. Just as a little sense of achievement to start my day with a positive. I have throw pillows (that I actually use to prop myself up on spoonless days) but definitely not decorative hats or other oddities! Aha

I make my bed nicely with pillows and a throw. I've just changed the bedding so i might take a pic and let you see! I don't artfully lay other stuff on it though.

Exactly. They've just come dashing in and have flung their hats down on the bed. Oh, and her bag.

If only we could zoom out we'd see their clothes all over the floor and perhaps even the happy couple in flagrante delicto just out of frame.

I have decorative pillows & throws on my bed 🤷🏼‍♀️ Looks very pain with nothing.

I make my bed up after it’s aired. The windows are opened wide to let in fresh air. I have cushions and a throw to decorate it. It makes getting into it a pleasure.

There we go. I just take off the cushions and throw when I go to bed then replace the next morning. Takes seconds.

I have 2 extra pillows and 3 cushions that I dress the bed with as I make it. Takes all of 30 seconds to do. We do use the pillows/cushions to prop us up when reading in bed or watching TV etc. Its just part of our morning routine, make the bed, sort the pillows, open the curtains etc.

I have decorative cushions and a throw.

Although what with the teddy bears I can't help picturing one of the couple as Lord Sebastian Flyte.

No clothes on my floor either! I like a tidy bedroom.

I make my bed every day, throw, cushions etc.

It looks better and much more homely. If you don't like it then don't do it. Not really something to have an entire thread about.

Our spare bed, has a bedspread with 2 additional and matching pillow shams.

It also has an additional folded blanket across the foot. 2 silk cushions and some soft toys which my niece likes when she sleeps over.

So yes, the bed is decorated. I love it.
