To think the most ppl don’t decorate their beds??!!

@Bowerbird5 yes it was found in an old farmhouse and restored.

I have 6 pillows and 3 show cushions on my bed plus a gorgeous throw to match whatever bedding is on.

I have never got in an unmade bed in my life.

The second picture genuinely looks just like my bed. What’s wrong with making your bed and having it look nice?!

I got into the decorative beds when I was selling my house. Used to do an arrangement on the beds so they looked nice for viewings. That and the family of rubber ducks and ducklings that lived in the bathroom and were arranged in different groupings every day.

Got into the habit now in my new house so have four cushions and a plushy throw to arrange on my bed (when I remember) all currently on the floor with the cats asleep amongst them.

My bed is usually decorated with a sleeping dog or two, snoring all legs in air.

I'm well classy.

I have 3 cushions on each side of bed - I like to sleep fairly flat with 2 skinny pillows so need the cushions to prop myself up for reading in bed or watching catch up tv/mums netting on iPad
They go on floor when I’m ready to sleep

With have two pillows, a throw and some fairy lights. Thought everyone did it tbh

Well I have 8 coushions and 2 pillows that is. We contort around various cushions to sleep due to acid reflux and comfort

No, I don't do this. We have nowhere to stash cushions at night when they come off the bed so they would have to go on the floor and I don't spend much time lying on my bed during the day but if I did we have two pillows each. The bed is usually made at some point in the day after being aired.

2 large and 2 small on mine. I use the large one to sit up and read in bed as we have a metal bed frame.

Oh and a throw. No hats though.

I hate decorative things on the bed unless you actually use them. Ugh. Show home vibes. Not nice.

Cushions and throws are so yesterday. People need to get themselves a doodle duvet.

Hotel throws are never laundered apparently.

Depends what you mean by decorating. When I read the title of your post I imagined a headboard with garlands of flowers and fairy lights.

I always make my bed, put two lovely cushions on and carefully arrange a big fluffy owl toy (a birthday present from my children) on them. Is that decorating? If it is, then you’re BU.

I hate it when I stay in hotels and there are scatter cushions on the bed. Come time for sleep there is usually no alternative but to throw them on the floor.

You can’t really see the bed in these pics but I have throws and cushions too ! I love getting in bed when it’s all straight and made up 😊

I find putting a couple of cushions ok or even a stuffed toy you are attached to. But the picture on the OP was more like staging.

I have two big pillows on the outside of my bed, just to prop myself up when reading,or on the laptop. I have usually got three cats on my bed also, and my laptop, my latest book,,and an A4 pad,to write my diary..sometimes there is a bar of chocolate,and some crisps on my bed also. I don't have any hats or teddies here,and no men at all !

I love decorative beds i made all my cushions on my bed and my own bed canopy, the bedroom just doesnt look right without a lovely neat made bed, all my kids have made beds with cushions and hats etc every morning (the hats balance casually on the headboard) , i do throws over all our beds too my daughter has 2 throws on hers luckily i make their beds ever morning, they dont otherwise they would be there all day lol
