Cluttery bed shite (totally stealing that phrase) = additional dead skin reservoirs = shed load more house dust mites= heinous levels of house dust mite tiny turds.

Some of these photos make me want to go and take several prophylactic salbutamol puffs.

My bed gets aired all day and nuked by a electric blanket every night in the vague hope of desiccating the bronchospasmic little bastards. I’ve had to make it today as the radiator man is tinkering about up there but the moment he's gone it’s getting aired to fuck again.

I really struggle with those decorative pillows that just get taken off at night!! What is the point?!

What’s the point of anything decorative?
Aesthetically pleasing.

I love decorative pillows, mainly to add a certain colour. At night I move them to the day bed. I don’t like that sentence.

My daughters cleaners used to find anything and everything to decorate her bed after they'd cleaned her flat. One day they made a beautiful swan on her bed sadly from a very wet bath towel, when she came home she had to change the bed and dry everything out, not happy, really not happy.

I do have a throw and throw cushions. It’s very much like Along Came Polly on an evening, my DH angrily throws them off sometimes .

Mine. No other reason for its OTT 'decorativeness' other than the fact that it makes me feel good. And, yes, there are 10 cushions...

Mm. Matching duvet set yes. Blanket folded at bottom in winter months. Clothes off the floor if not actually put away. That'll do!

I will rephrase it then: Out of the sixty five-thousand three hundred and thirty-two interesting important, urgent, necessary and thankless things I have to do in the day, making sure my bed - which only I and my wife, and the kids ever sees - is neat and 'Homes and Garden' would be about sixty five-thousand three hundred and thirty-third on the list.

Christ! I would have to be bored out of my skull to be THAT desperate for something to do.

My daughter has two throws, four coordinated pillows, three cushions and at a rough guess around a dozen Disney character teddies all in very precise positions on hers. She's 25!

Throw, turned down top sheet and decorative pillows here. Takes 2 secs and give me day long pleasure in my sanctuary.

TheSandman yes! I have all those things to do too!!! And as soon as I’ve ‘decorated’ my bed, I get right on to them!

Just be sure to wipe up your carbon footprint in your return.
