How many coats do you own?

Including leather jackets, denim jackets, mac, winter, summer coats etc.

(Not counting suit jackets tho)

Starting to think I need to thin out, especially since I just saw a moth in one 😮

When I write that down it seems excessive...

1. A winter coat and a lighter trench coat for Spring.

5, I think. The horse has more coats than I do 😳

I only buy secondhand though.

The last brand new coat I bought was in 2004.

I live in Ireland, so you know.....4 seasons in a day!!! 😝

10, which I think is probably too many but I do wear them all. Think in the UK you kind of need a few because the weather is really variable? (excuse for having too many?!)

A real black leather one
A fake blue leather one
4 letterman style jackets with geeky logos on
A denim one
A mock suedette one
And if we're counting blazers about 4 in assorted colours.

Another 5 work jackets (uniform)

One big rain coat which I can wear all year, (bar summer), with or without layers, depending.

The other is my fancy coat, for when I go somewhere naice. It’s a slim fitting one from Hobbs. Not super warm, but it does the job.

I don’t wear denim jackets or anything like that. I did used to wear a suit to work.

I’ve got one of my dad’s old warm anoraks upstairs somewhere too, for emergencies.

So I guess that makes 3, but I really don’t wear the anorak.

I got loads, am a bit of a Coat a holic, must be about £3000 worth at least and have given loads away to niece and slim friends.

Many. I have many, many, many coats.

Off the top of my head without going to look, I can think of 30. If I looked in my wardrobe, I'm sure there are a few others. This includes leather jackets but not suit jackets.

I think it's hereditary/genetic. My father is also obsessed with coats.

One black leather jacket which goes with casual outfits or evening wear.

One light trench for spring/autumn.

One heavy wool for winter.

I capsule wardrobe! No more than forty items at a time in my closet, including jackets/coats, tops, trousers, skirts, denims, dresses and footwear and hats. So the coats go in and out according to the season. Leather jacket stays at all time though, as it goes with everything, and I feel amazing in it.

Erm, around 20.
I absolutely need all of them and have my eye on a new one.
