How many coats do you own?

(Not counting suit jackets tho)

Starting to think I need to thin out, especially since I just saw a moth in one 😮

One short thin trench coat
One denim jacket

Summer dog walking coat, (fleece and waterproof )
Winter dog walking coat. (fleece and waterproof,)

2 I think, a lightweight waterproof one for when it's really wet, and a warm jacket that isn't so waterproof for when it's cold, if it's really cold or cold and wet then I wear both. But then they look good with everything and limited amount of clothes is one area that I strongly fit into the male steriotype!

I have one rain coat, one wax heavy duty and one quilted and a gilet. No jackets. I can't fathom the need for so many 😂

That's pretty terrible but nowhere near as bad as I thought. I do actually wear them all every year! And coats are by far my biggest extravagance.

I have a 'thing's for coats/jackets in the same way people have them for bags and shoes!
I'd take a guess at around 25

I love coats and shoes.
I have far too many over 30 including blazers.

2 winter coat and rain coat

DH has more though - he is constantly on the hunt for the 'perfect jacket'

Smart wool coat black- near enough floor length.
Lighter smart coat - autumn/spring
Cream mid length wool - 2nd hand probably needs replacing as too big now have lost weight.
Waxed jacket

So 4 smart coats

1 neon pink running/cycling jacket

1 cheap ski jacket for general winter.
1 Aldi jacket which fits baby wearing panel

Various waterproofs.

Long waterproof with knackered zip.

Proper ski jacket.

None of these count... obviously ... because they are purely functional items.

I really want a down coat for winter.

Anyway DH has more coats than me although none are properly smart.

About 30. I definitely need to have a sort out.

No idea, just for winter need at least half a dozen wool coats, couple of ski jackets, 3-in-1 waterproofs,
then mid-season coats and jackets, summer jackets.

I buy as I need them, so quite a few.

16, but it's not nearly enough. You can never have too many coats!

7, the oldest 30 years old, the newest about 10 years old. Two from charity shops, the others from sales so none full price.

No denim or leather.
A few activity specific - sailing, waterproof for hiking etc.
A few different weight ancient dog walking coats.
A few everyday Boden type coats
A couple of evening coats.
A few work coats.
Lots of jackets.
