How many coats do you own?

Including leather jackets, denim jackets, mac, winter, summer coats etc.

(Not counting suit jackets tho)

Starting to think I need to thin out, especially since I just saw a moth in one 😮

Black pea coat (gifted)
Indigo denim jacket
Fake suede/fur thing in maroon (charity shop)
Swedish army coat (essential for football season)
waterproof/fleece combo
Warm fluffy lined hoody thing
Burberry mac (inherited)
Trenchcoat style mac thingy (inherited, would be good with nothing underneath)

That's about it. I don't have the coat in this picture. But I so wish I did.

I have 7, but they are each for a specific circumstance, i.e., a black cashmere coat for dressy occasions, a waterproof down coat for the snow, etc.

About 20-30. And I live somewhere I only get to wear a coat about 4 days a year

What about wool biker style? Is that a jacket or a cardigan( and therefore not included?) What about hoodies? Or poncho / wraps? Coatigans? I have all these but 2 actual coa ts, and about 4 or 5 jackets. Also a few old fleeces, and a couple of waterproofs.

Cheapest were about 20 quid from Uniqlo, up to a few grand for the priciest.

DW has a shitload.

1. A winter one which rarely gets brought out and a rain jacket. But I live in Australia so maybe doesn’t count. I only put proper shoes on (except for work) for 3 months of the year

19 counting summer jackets. All in wear though some very occasionally but I’d miss them. I can’t do capsule!

Although 2 I haven’t worn for a few years and I think it’s time to pass them on.

I used to have a lot more but have been trying to thin things out and limit what I buy in recent times.

(Small) charity shop bag prepped for tomorrow! Only three are leaving me for now!
