Just that really... the last two episodes have been so slow!

Building up for hopefully a brilliant ending. I thought they were well put together.

They’re a work of genius. Building the tension, bringing the characters we love together and then next week. BAM. The battle of Winterfell is going to be epic and we’re all going to be devastated at the loss of 50% of the characters we’ve come to root for over the last few years.

I agree with you on the first one.

Episode 2 I feel is bringing everything together to close off the series quite nicely for some characters, I feel. People are redeeming themselves from previous misdeeds or in Brienne’s case, finally getting what they’ve always wanted.

It’s all going to hit he can next episode anyway with the fight for Winterfell.

I’ve already earmarked people who aren’t going to make it based on what happened in episode 2.

I know what you mean about the pacing. The lack of urgency is weird (particularly episode 1). The wall’s come down people, look a bit lively

While I get why they did it, the dragon joyriding felt a bit self indulgent in the circs.

However if the battle of winterfell next week is a banger, much will be forgiven.

Who do you think will die? My money’s on Theon, Brienne and Arya (gulp). I think a Stark needs to go and she’s the most expendable.

YABU as its all about building. The 1st episode was an excellent re-intro back into the characters and storylines. Tonights was very good with a lot of emotion and character development. It was a really, really good build up to the Battle of Winterfell. Its actually an example of television production at its best.

They have been a bit on the slow side, but they're building up to it. They've got to tie up some loose ends before the shit hits the fan. Just wish I didn't have to wait a week. Much prefer to binge watch them.

They’re getting everyone in place before the battle, and they need to establish happiness before the inevitable deaths! Eg greyworm talking about his lovely future doesn’t bode well!!

I'm so freaking impatient and slightly disappointed at how slow it's been so far. And not really loving all the humour?? Seems a bit out of place. Get on with the killing for fuck sake.

Slow but I wish I could binge watch instead.

Also the humour lines are a bit shit and out of place make me think of the same shit ideas, like the shit idea of putting Ed Sheeran in it 🙄

Arya's arc just almost came to an end so I think she will die soon. Ghendry's is just begining again.

Dani will lose the plot and fight Jon or become the Queen of the undead by accident.
Cersei will kill Tyrion and Jamie will kill Cersei because of it, webbed footed incest child n all.
Sansa will be Queen of the North and Theon as her joint Hand with Brienne.
Lyanna Mormont will be the sacrifice to the light, of her own doing and volunteering as tribute 🙄
Davos will die protecting the girl with the facial burn
Tormund will get a kiss from Brienne as he takes his last breath.
Jamie and Brienne will have very tall, very big footed children and live happily ever after.

I think episodes 1 and 2 could have been 1/2 an episode. We know everyone was heading to Winterfell. We don’t need more than a quite feast scene so they can all say hello. I just know that battle is going to go on too long too. I think I’m over it.

Oh and apparently Arya is GRRMs wife's favourite, so she's deffo gonna die.

How can you possibly say that 2 episodes in? And yesterday's episode was wonderful. I teared up several times and I'm not a cryer.

Yup, far too slow. I remember reading a member of the cast saying that people were going to be disappointed with the final series. On the bright side the expression on the dragon's face when Snow was making out with Daenerys !!!

I hope Arya and Sansa get the chop.

And Cersei lives. I love baddies. But I also love Brianne.
