Quite honestly I don’t think the kids should be allowed to attend nursery etc without the required vaccinations.

It's selfish at the very least. It's on the same spectrum of ignorance as letting your child become obese, or their teeth be damaged by bad diet. Well actually it's slightly higher.

I know a Nurse who is an anti vaxer.

Her DD has had every illness going.

She's talked her Mum out of having the flu jab and her Mum was hospitalised with Flu, but she still bangs on, on FB and people trust her because she is a Nurse.

Once the NHS and school system is set up to deal with the practicalities of ensuring that children who can't be vaccinated do not add losing their education to their problems in life then perhaps.

But children aren't contagious unless they are sick.

Children are AMAZING little disease and parasite vectors - and certainly do not need to be sick to share their infectious, contagious and parasitic little gifts with the greatest of ease.

Some illnesses can be contagious before a person ever shows symptoms. Flu is an example - you're contagious starting about 2 days before you have clinical illness.

Anti-vaxxers are the essentially the most self absorbed and narcissistic people around. Any one who thinks their idiotic "beliefs" gives them the right to 1. Put their own children at risk and 2. Put others at risk, shouldn't have the right to be part of the rest of society. If you believe your (hilariously wrong and entirely disproven multiple times) opinions are more important than the health of the vulnerable members of our society then they can fuck right off. And anyone who believes being dead is a preferable alternative to autism, which is what anti-vaccination essentially preaches, can fuck right off too.

In short, fuck right off to the middle of no where with your wrong and idiotic beliefs if you refuse to vaccinate your children.

(Not including those who can't be vaccinated for medical reasons as those are part of the vulnerable members of society that anti-vaxxers so enjoy putting their health at risk.)
