To not give a shit about the Eugenie wedding?

Does anyone really care about this? I know tabloids are trying to push this as fascinating and brilliant news (probably at request of her dad) but who cares if a random upper class women gets married? Why is it on tv? Why would anyone be mad enough to go on watch a carriage possession in Windsor and more importantly why does the tax payer have to pick up the bill for security etc?

I agree OP but there will be cries of "but the royal family bring in more revenue than they take" etc.

It's still obscene to me and she does no royal duties.

I didn't even realise it was today until just now and I don't live in a bubble by any means.

I will look at the pictures of her frock and the other guests' outfits but other than that it will not ripple my consciousness

It's nice she is getting married, good luck to her etc.

But it's all bypassed me really, and I say that as someone who is temporarily working almost within walking distance of Windsor.

Seems a bit odd to get so riled up about not caring that you have to post about it though

I'm highly invested in the Playmo Wedding happening over in Chat.
Kick off's at 10.00am, so I'd best get my jobs done, get the fizzy on ice, and sort out my flag.
Any other event happening today isnt really important to me.
I've got my priorities right I reckon.

The security bill is because the British public can’t be trusted to stay at a reasonable distance and behave in a safe way without police involvement. They are being protected from each other just as much as the royals are being protected from them. Also because any event with lots of high profile attendees is a terror threat.

I kind of like her and Beatrice now. They seem to be able to take a joke & laugh at themselves & their fuck ups, they seem much nicer and less fake than other current members of the RF.

She seems like a very nice girl and the fiance seems normal enough so good luck to them.

Also I suspect her dress will be amazing, she has a big bust and could look stunning in the right shape.

But I'm astounded it's on telly. It shouldn't be that big a deal, it's absolutely nuts.

If the weather in Windsor is like that in Somerset this morning I feel sorry for them all!

But other than having a nose at the dress and what some of the guests are wearing I’m not interested either really.
