Just that really.... inspired by the recent sticker campaign.... "Women can't have penises" and "Some women have penises"....

Simple question - simple answer.

Me - Yes, I believe women can't have penises.

A woman can't have a penis.

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 28/08/2018 14:37

I know women don’t have penises.

QuestionableMouse · 28/08/2018 14:37

Hasn't this been hashed out endlessly? I'm not convinced that we need yet another thread on the subject.

maxthemartian · 28/08/2018 14:38

Women definitely don't have penises.

loveyouradvice · 28/08/2018 14:39

Oops.... don't have rather than can't have...

Just realised what I wrote! Like someone's rationing them....

Most original post of the year

Why has this never been thought of before?

chillpizza · 28/08/2018 14:40

Women do not have penises.

BossWitch · 28/08/2018 14:41

It's not a question of belief. It is an empirical fact.

The earth is a sphere.
Humans need oxygen to live.
Women don't have penises.
Men don't have vaginas.
Human beings cannot change sex.

IncrediblySturdyPyjamas · 28/08/2018 14:43

Hasn't this been hashed out endlessly? I'm not convinced that we need yet another thread on the subject.

Until all the political parties admit this is can't be said enough!

BigbreastsBiggerbeard · 28/08/2018 14:44

Women can have penises if they are; a) pickled in a jar b) dessicated c) displayed as decorative wall art.

notdaddycool · 28/08/2018 14:44

I have one, I’m a man.

Bombardier25966 · 28/08/2018 14:44

Threads like this give Mumsnet a bad name.

Live and let live people. Love not hate.

Sparklingbrook · 28/08/2018 14:45

What's the AIBU?

Leesa65 · 28/08/2018 14:46

No women do not have a penis

Some women however , have more balls (invisible ones) than some men do.

pigsDOfly · 28/08/2018 14:46

Women don't have penises and men can't give birth.

Not a matter of belief. Those are the facts.

SnuggyBuggy · 28/08/2018 14:46

Ive nothing against the good old penis but there is a time and a place for them and women certainly don't have them.

maxthemartian · 28/08/2018 14:47

It's not about hate. Unless facts are now hateful.

Frequency · 28/08/2018 14:53

Women do not have penises. Gender is a dangerous social construct I'd be happy to see done away with but as long as gender still exists, I am happy for people to live in their chosen gender but sex and sex segregated spaces and activities need to be protected.

If you live as a woman but have a penis you are biologically male. You belong in a male prison, male sports, male changing rooms, male refuges etc as those spaces are separated by sex not gender. If you wish to present as a woman while you're doing that is your choice and you should be safe and free from prejudice in making that choice.

I also believe, as far as prisons go and possibly some other spaces, we need a third space. I can't see a MtF person being safe in a male prison but don't accept we should endanger women to keep them safe. Trans rights don't trump women's right. Both groups have the right to be safe.

9amTrain · 28/08/2018 14:54

It's common knowledge that women don't have dicks.

SerenDippitty · 28/08/2018 14:55

Born women don’t have penises.
Transwomen may or may not have penises, I couldn’t care less either way, what they choose to do or not do with them is their business, their body, their choice. As long as they don’t use it as a weapon, of course.

Lots of women can’t give birth. It’s not a qualification of womanhood that you can.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 28/08/2018 14:55

Women don't have penises or XY chromosomes. Only men have these. This is a biological fact.

TwittleBee · 28/08/2018 14:55

well said Frequency

Ollivander84 · 28/08/2018 14:55

They're not protected though. I do a women's class with a FTM pre op who is taking illegal hormones
I'm uncomfortable with it

Theresnodisneyending · 28/08/2018 14:56

What are you trying to achieve from this thread?

HedgehogPoo · 28/08/2018 14:58

No, they don't. Men do but I know that we aren't supposed to say that. waits to be sued
