Just that really.... inspired by the recent sticker campaign.... "Women can't have penises" and "Some women have penises"....

Simple question - simple answer.

Me - Yes, I believe women can't have penises.

Funny Amy how the law works in favour of men and self iD. A women only lake in Hampstead had to admit men who self id as ladies, not the male lake though, that did not have to admit women who self id. Women decided to protest at this, by self id as men and using the men lake, the Police were called and they were asked to leave. How fair is that! It seems that it is the women that are disadvantaged as usual by this, and the law does not support them. That is why women are concerned and upset.

Quite simply, in my opinion, women cannot have penises. To my mind, sex/gender is fixed at birth.

We are called TERFS, Transphobic, bigots if we don't, are the men who refuse to open up their spaces to women who self id as men called those. It certainly is a man's world and men using their prividedge and power to gain access to Females spaces. One questions why are they so desperate to do this!

Is there a name for men who protest against self Id, like the negative names given to women, no, they are respected.

There are no intersex conditions whereby genetic females have a penis. None. There is Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia in which XX individuals can have cliteromegaly, which is an abnormally large clitoris. But it is not a penis

Every foetus effectively starts off "female", and then appropriate hormones kick in to fine tune the males. All males go through the female stages of early development. Females do not go through any of the male stages. (IIRC - many years since I studied foetal development, but I think this is the gist)

But I respect their right to identity as women, and don't really care what's between their legs. Live and let live

I think we all feel the same IrishDad - but many "trans"* females aren't prepared to live and let live. They want control of everything.

It is interesting that you say you aren't attracted to "trans" women (fair enough) - has anyone accused you of being transphobic because of this? Because many lesbian women are subjected to horrific abuse because they aren't attracted to "trans" women either.

*I've put "trans" in inverted commas because I think it is more often a deliberate ploy to invade women's spaces and indulge perverted behaviour than a genuine condition.

My type is white, but I also like Asian and Hispanic, so I don't believe I'm being racist.

Can I just say that as a heterosexual female, I, too have a type. It is "intelligent". I like intelligent men. I have often not noticed after a short time, physical characteristics that I would on other people find unattractive because the person himself is so engaging.

In case I sound too saintly - I also insist on good personal hygiene. And a willie.

I am pro-trans and pro-woman. I don’t see why one should mean hating the other. I am truly fed up of current events.

I am very liberal, and I do not appreciate the way women’s basic rights are being eroded in this race to show how completely ‘liberal’ we are.

This piggy backing of real trans people’s rights by people who want to persecute and abuse women is fucking disgusting.

We will look back on this time and poke fun at the pathetic idiocy that is taking place. And we will be terrified at the way people are eager to switch off their brains and join in these ridiculous pretenses at ‘right-think’, that are allowing hideous abd violent abuses of women to take place. It’s a sick and painful spectacle of our modern age.

Convicted rapists and paedophiles are being moved to women's prisons because they say they're women.

That will have a real impact on the women forced to share cells and be locked up with these men.

Predatory men who ID as transwomen will have access to women and girls in hospital wards, mental hospitals, refuges, rape crisis centres, hotels, changing rooms, toilets.

This is going to hugely affect women.
