Oh I think I know what's going on here. Was one of them also wearing a crown with their fur coat? And were they seen buying a bbc sound effects record? It's the king of sheep festival.

RadishesAndLentils · 23/07/2018 20:37

I like Rebecca's explanation best.

DeltaFlyer · 23/07/2018 20:38

Breeding maggots?

Seriously though some people do feel the cold like the elderly or those with certain medical conditions as mentioned by pp

Malmsey · 23/07/2018 20:40

Swingers on their way to a nude key party and sparing their blushes en route. Or, as is mostly the case in my closest city, people recent arrived from India or Pakistan.

Corneliusmurphy · 23/07/2018 20:40

Was it my fil? I've been with dp for 16 years I have only seen the coat come off a handful of times and 90% of the time he is also wearing a jumper.
I can only offer 'because he's a bit odd' hth
(It's not because he's cold btw you can often see he's uncomfortable, he actually asked for a glass of water last week for about the tenth ever time despite visiting almost weekly) Confused

MipMipMip · 23/07/2018 20:41

I had a coat on yesterday as my dog likes to take me through brambles and nettle patches. This was the cooler part of yesterday you may have blinked and missed it but I was still sweating buckets. I also wear a coat to pick blackberries and goosberries for protection.

Penfold007 · 23/07/2018 20:41

DM has to take platelet and blood thinning drugs. She is wearing a thick cardi and tucked up under several blankets and still saying she's cold.

BlueJava · 23/07/2018 20:42

I know where you're coming from OP. I was on the tube today, it was 29 deg C, there was a lady wearing thick tights, skirt and jumper with a Welsh wool tweed coat. As she waited to get off... she buttoned it up.

WakeUpFromYourDreamAndScream · 23/07/2018 20:42

@OkMaybeNot 😂😂😂

GetToFuck · 23/07/2018 20:43

Only wearing stockings and suspenders underneath?

Seasawride · 23/07/2018 20:43

Saw a very obese girl yesterday in black leggings, jumper and a fleece! Jesus made he feel ill.

Also jeans! Why are women in jeans. It’s soooo hot

Seasawride · 23/07/2018 20:44

Dh says the tube was beyond vile today. And it’s genersloy fucking vile most days

GrowThroughWhatYouGoThrough · 23/07/2018 20:44

My fil always wore a big jacket no matter what the weather as chemo made him very cold

Bugjune · 23/07/2018 20:45

I was in yoga pants and a hoodie today. Cloudy and 25C here.

LuluJakey1 · 23/07/2018 20:48

Can't be Newcastle. We wear Tshirts, bare legs and mini mini-skirts in the snow - just those down the Bigg Market on a Friday or Saturday night.

Tawdrylocalbrouhaha · 23/07/2018 20:50

We're they little old Jamaican ladies? The ones near me seem to feel the cold, and today they are cozily dressed as always.

Mozartinmyfanjo · 23/07/2018 20:51

It was about a 100 degrees on the London tube this morning. Saw a man with a coat and scarf, a lady with woollen skirt, tights and overcoat and 4 teenagers in puffa jackets. Shock

LuluJakey1 · 23/07/2018 20:51

Has been not quite as hot here today at 24C. Has been looking thundery all day. Suddenly about 15 mnutes ago there was a total downpour- stotting up off the ground and off the windows, looked like someone was tipping huge buckets down. Lasted 5 mins. Is now clear and warm again!

ILikeyourHairyHands · 23/07/2018 20:53

I saw someone wearing black leggings and fucking UGG BOOTS yesterday. I felt murderous just looking at her.

Schroedingerscatagain · 23/07/2018 20:53

Teen Dd is still wearing thick black tights in this heat, she has Asd and a sensory processing disorder and needs the pressure feedback from tight fitting clothes so wears them whatever the weather

TiredPony · 23/07/2018 20:54

Saw someone last week with a vest and shorts on - topped off with a huge woolly hat Grin

MakeLemonade · 23/07/2018 20:56

I’ve been wearing jeans in London today, they’re a fairly thin cotton and it’s been hot for weeks now, I’ve acclimatised!

ReginaBlitzkreig · 23/07/2018 20:56

The very elderly do this. They just feel cold all the time. My frail 80 something neighbour (yes, Jamaican) has been out and about in slacks, jacket, scarf and fleece hat today.

Also, cancer.

I added a light linen duster coat to my outfit to hide the flab. It is years since I have gone out without some sort of cover up on, because I get self conscious. The positive is that I get lovely smiles and 'Hello sister' from women in hijabs. The negative is that it makes me feel hotter.

GabsAlot · 23/07/2018 21:00

i usually see old people doing this unfritunately they overheat in this weather they think theyre going to catch a chill so im told

GabsAlot · 23/07/2018 21:01
