CFN Thread #9 (Better call Planning)

Okay so I wasn't going to post until I'd had some kind of resolution. However, planning called today to ask if they could access my garden on Friday as they need to do some "further investigation" and have another planning official who will be there to oversee it??

They wouldn't tell me over the phone what it was about (it wasn't Nice Planning Lady, it was someone I hadn't spoken with before)

No sign of CFN/ builders etc.

I really hope CFN show up while the planning people are there!

Hopefully the person is the TOP DECISION MAKER WHO GETS THINGS DONE QUICK SMART if such an individual exists.

Conservation person at council and english heritage regional person probably. With a view to prosecution. They cant be rustled up as quickly hence delay.

At some point someone like me (building archaeologist) may be needed to record the former window but the CFN would pay for me. And I am not cheap... £300 per day and if it is me i will take my time

This is pure guesswork on my part though!

couch ha, interesting thought! Although if the Fail were going to pick it up it's not reeeealllyy much of a story in that:
Neighbours install illegal doors to garden
Other neighbour calls planning and it's hopefully getting sorted out
(Apart from all the crazy stuff in between and lovely recipes and random pics )

What hopefully you and Spangran will know more about the situation on Friday.

Fluffy yes I'll try to get as much info as possible, not least so I've got some idea of what's going on, what to do if they return etc.
