He KEEPS using the C word .. Out of all swear words I hate that the most .. Would you wash his mouth out with soap ? I am aware he may swear outside (which Im not pleased with) but in front of me disgusts me . .

No wy! That's abusive (although I'm guessing your at the end of your tether!). I have/had a sweary dd and I docked her money each time o heard her swore. This meant that even though she did chores (which she got a small allowance for) she usually ended up giving me mkney as a result. Quickly stopped.

If he cannae temper his language in your company then sanctions will be applied. Phone confiscated, allowance suspended, lifts cancelled. That kinda thing.

WEll, apart from being an appallingly written thread title-your suggested actions are in fact assault. And would be investigated by police and Children's services.

No I wouldn't. But there would be sanctions... serious sanctions until he gets the idea that he curbs his mouth and shows some respect.

Tbh my dd swears like a brickie but she is 18. At 12 there would have been consequences.

Far better to take his things away for longer periods of time. No pocket money, xbox etc until he learns.
