I was hoping for Idris Elba or Ben Whishaw.

Maybe I'm too young to appreciate him, David Tennant was much more my type, Matt Smith not bad to look at either. Maybe I'll be able to get into the storylines more now rather than just swooning at the TV :o

Oh and him and River will be great! And the dynamic between Clara and the Doctor will be GREATLY improved. Matt Smith's Doctor and Clara were too bouncy together.
