And then there's the fine line between troll hunting and stating the fucking glaringly obvious.

Tbh, that one has bugged me. Because it is fairly believable. Some low life tries it on with you (hasn't that happened to most of us ??) And respondents gave good advice.

As a fairly new poster to MN I hate these threads two-fold. Firstly it's an awful waste of time and in a lot of cases emotionally draining for posters trying to help, secondly I do wonder if someone newer like me who wasn't known needed MN help they might be ignored or thought of as a troll.
