I agree, Isabella. Some good stuff got posted today about bailiffs, for example. You didn't have to have an opinion about the OPs to benefit from the advice.

I don't think you are responsible for a whole thread disappearing, Clipped. MNHQ would just delete your posts.

No, Dinosaur's thread must have been deleted for something other than trollery - she is a long term MNer. I've spoken to her on PM in the past and she is almost boringly normal (no offence Dinosaur! I mean that in the nicest way possible!) and she hasn't had any major dramas, other than having a shitty time of it.

I mean I'm baffled by the thread creations and deletions.

I won't let it spoil Armageddon or anything, though.

No, no note but I banged on about her not putting herself in that situation??? and i think there's a zero tollerance about not telling a woman that she's to blame. Not that i did this but i can see now that i probably implied this.

So a genuine poster has a thread taken over and ruined by non-genuine posters and so MNHQ pulls the plug, because the thread has no integrity any more?

Shame when the subjects of the threads are really bloody important.

I felt very bad earlier when I joked round on a thread that I thought was a funny one.
I was flippant and insensitive. Turned out to be someone in trouble.

So now I am going to be ultra careful

TSC I have known of Dinosaurs since late August (I noticed her because we are both in a similar position at the moment) and we got talking on PM.

Obviously, you can never truly know anybody online but I can't imagine she is a troll.

I did read her thread but then it went poof before I had a chance to catch up.
