I know this is really unkind but Beatrice and Eugenie looked like the 2 ugly sisters

Wash my mouth out for saying it but their wedding outfits were completely unflattering. Someone should offer them style advice.

No they both looked hideous. Stupid hats, and Eugenie's dress was vile.

I agree completely. I think they normally look nice. heaven knows what they were thinking when they planned what to wear.

Eugenie clashed with Anne's dress too.

They've both inherited their awful mother's fashion sense, unfortunately.

Even more unfortunately, along with lack of fashion sense they have also inherited her arrogance and ignorance, which means that a thousand people could tell them that their outfits don't flatter them, but they would still think they were right and everyone else is wrong.

Eugenie's dress was shockingly bad - bad shape, awful fabric.
Beatrice's hat was just jaw droopingly awful. She looked like a Dr Who monster.

Why does it matter what they looked like?

Because, generally speaking, if you are going to be seen by billions of people worldwide and have your appearance recorded for all history, you would make an effort to look nice.

LOL! I said the same to dh. I never know which one is which but the one with the horns hat had horrendous make up too. It's hard to believe that people with so much advice and money at their disposal can get it SO wrong. They could have looked gorgeous but they looked ridiculous.

I think they are far from ugly, they are both very attractive girls, however they have both inherited their mother's build and need to take care in how to dress. The dresses were frightful and made them look bigger than they are.

The hats are also unspeakable. I don't care if it is by philip Treacy, my daughter could knock up better hats out of fimo and pipe cleaners.

Maybe they're just not too bothered about appearances? Good for them I say :) They seem like down-to-earth nice young women who were there today to support the happy couple, not to take part in a fashion show.

I would love to know what went through their heads when they first put the outfits on, looked in the mirror and thought, yes! that's the one!

I think they are concerned about appearances though. Princess Anne genuinely couldn't give a monkeys I don't think, wears something she wore to Gatcombe Horse trials in the mid 80s

I'm not keen on the fashion of plugging the hat on the forehead. Treacy should have done something prettier for them.
