YABU, you could at least have left him a Gregg's sausage roll and a Fruit Shoot incase you and DP wan't sloppy seconds.

Iggly · 23/04/2011 13:55
Hmm

I don't know why but I think YABU! it gets bloody hot in our car even in the shade.

Jaspants · 23/04/2011 13:56

Envy I miss daytime naps now mine are older

worldgonemad72 · 23/04/2011 14:18

i do think yabu on this occasion, its 2 hot in cars, even in the shade with the weather we are having at the moment.

atswimtwolengths · 23/04/2011 14:25

You're being unreasonable, sorry. It gets too hot in the car.

if it's as warm where I am today (south west) then yes you are being VU even if in the shade the temperature in a car soars much higher than outside temp and childrens bodies react to high temps faster then adults - i might even have called the police TBH.

ChippingInLovesEasterEggs · 23/04/2011 14:32

Bloody hell - for the 30 seconds they were in the house I'm sure he'll have been just fine Grin

Actually, if the weather is anything like it is here, it would be a bit mad to leave him in the car - it's boiling! Unless it was in proper shade with the car doors open and it was a very very quick quickie!

I hope DS was fine and you had a ... errr... ummm ... nice time ...Wink

stoppinchingthedummy · 23/04/2011 14:33

Yikes i also think yabu for the same reason as the others its way too hot in the car even with the window a little bit open ...

stoppinchingthedummy · 23/04/2011 14:34

30 secs ...thats one hell of a quickie Grin

monkeyfacegrace · 23/04/2011 14:35

haha, the windows were wound down, and we have a lovely breeze here, and he was naked, so defo not too hot. Safety first, me Grin

Anyway, bbq and wine time Grin

YABU, first because of the heat and then what if he had woken up to find himself alone in a car? Far too distressing!

Really hoping it is joke thread.

monkeyfacegrace · 23/04/2011 14:36

Mmm, we started off while driving home, so we were prob indoors for 2 minutes max Wink

sharbie · 23/04/2011 14:37

oh dear gets worse

nomorepets · 23/04/2011 14:39

why are you posting this do you just want to let us all know you had a shag or to let us know you are a bad parent

GitAwfMayLend · 23/04/2011 14:41
Hmm

YABU.

My car is parked in the shade with the windows open, and it is very breezy, but I just went in there to get something out and it is roasting.

Surely nobody is really that much of a dickhead to leave a kid in a car in this heat for a shag

Christ there are enough adverts about not doing this to dogs, open windows and shade notwithstanding, you would think that people would also realise that you shouldn't leave kids in the car.

Fair enough it was only 2 minutes, and he is fine, but what a strange thread. What on earth did you want people to say? Erm, well done for the shagging? Congrats for getting your oats?

QuintEggSentialPaints · 23/04/2011 14:41

I think this is a thread to hide....

Why do some people feel the need to share intimate details of their sex lives on here?

OP of course you were BU. No child should be left sleeping in a car alone in these temperatures.

cantspel · 23/04/2011 14:44

not much of a boast to tell the whole of mn that your oh suffers from a hair trigger penis.

Flowerduet · 23/04/2011 14:46

Hmm. Interesting. So we are aware of the dangers of leaving dogs in the car in warm weather but not children?

I'm really hoping this is a joke thread.

shinyshoes · 23/04/2011 14:47

oh lighten up people . Hmm

Good on yer OP , get it whilst you can Wink

TidyDancer · 23/04/2011 14:47

Well this is probably a joke, but YABVU anyway. It's far too hot for leaving a child in the car unattended.

EllAEllO · 23/04/2011 14:47

Haha! Brilliant cantspel Grin Exactly what I thought but couldn't put into words.

Op YABU.

Not nice.
