while I dragged my husband-to-be indoors for a good hard sunny day lunchtime shag

YABU, you could at least have left him a Gregg's sausage roll and a Fruit Shoot incase you and DP wan't sloppy seconds.

I don't know why but I think YABU! it gets bloody hot in our car even in the shade.

i do think yabu on this occasion, its 2 hot in cars, even in the shade with the weather we are having at the moment.

if it's as warm where I am today (south west) then yes you are being VU even if in the shade the temperature in a car soars much higher than outside temp and childrens bodies react to high temps faster then adults - i might even have called the police TBH.

Actually, if the weather is anything like it is here, it would be a bit mad to leave him in the car - it's boiling! Unless it was in proper shade with the car doors open and it was a very very quick quickie!
