On the driveway, in the shade (for those boring ones of you),

while I dragged my husband-to-be indoors for a good hard sunny day lunchtime shag

Grin Grin Grin Grin

DamnItJanet · 23/04/2011 15:56

The op is a regular on here. I think she all wanted us to do a lot of Shock Grin and Envy posts.

In reality we all think you're a bit of a tit for leaving a LO alone like that.

yousankmybattleship · 23/04/2011 15:59

If it is true, then YABVU. And you're a bloody idiot.

maypole1 · 23/04/2011 16:00

thats awuful living a babay with no water in a car out front so you could have sex with your husband

you shouldnt leave a dog in a car on a hot day like this let alone a child

nasty nasty nasty

southmum · 23/04/2011 16:13

oh dear

you left a naked kid in a hot car and it was open whilst you had a shag

grim and not at all funny

VinegarTits · 23/04/2011 16:15

christ! i just spotted - 'Mmm, we started off while driving home, so we were prob indoors for 2 minutes max'

worryingly, i dont think this is a wind up, her profile and other threads she is on looks genuine to me

insertfunnynicknamehere · 23/04/2011 16:20

WeLl done OP for making me throw up in my mouth a little

Herthatwas · 23/04/2011 17:18

My God, you're selfish. It's so hot today. You put your own needs before your childs. Yes, you are a bad parent. I hope the sex was worth it.
Why else did you tell us if you didn't want to be told off?

SoFluffyImGonnaDie · 23/04/2011 17:21

I don't understand why OP refers to parking in the shade for the boring ones. How utterly mundane of you to not want to roast your child alive!
I often leave my lo sleeping in the car. It is parked in the garage with the garage door closed and the internal door open and the windows down. I am checking every 5 minutes and every sound makes me think he is awake, thinking about it now it might be easier to just bring him in, he is however a nightmare when woken. How could you possibly concentrate?
But yeah well done way to brag about your awesome sex life I am seriously envious fgs

BeeMyBaby · 23/04/2011 17:23

OP, if you are in Scotland you are NBU at all, it was raining all lunch time and really quite cold. I have still not warmed up.

FriggFRIGG · 23/04/2011 17:24

idiotic.

seriously,on what level is this okay?!

alone in an unlocked car,in the boiling heat....for a fuckHmm

SoFluffyImGonnaDie · 23/04/2011 17:27

YAalsoBU for using the word shag it makes me think of carpet and a pervy boss I used to work for

megapixels · 23/04/2011 17:30

Hmm Really hoping the OP didn't seriously do that.

And what jealousy when the man only lasts 30 seconds? Grin.

TruthSweet · 23/04/2011 17:34

Perhaps this might be useful for you to read so you can see why everyone (well mostly) is a bit shocked you'd risk your child for a shag.

lljkk · 23/04/2011 17:43

Have you all got hornets up your arses?

Presumably OP is not MNing from A&E so in fact what she did was fine wrt her child's welfare.
I bet that's the last time you ever try to tell a joke in AIBU, OP.

GwendolineMaryLacey · 23/04/2011 17:45

I left my 39 year old DH in the car outside Tesco today because he detests shopping. I'd barely picked up a trolley before he came running after me because it was too hot in the car, in the shade, with most of the windows down.

Hope you enjoyed your shag Hmm

GwendolineMaryLacey · 23/04/2011 17:46

Oh it was supposed to be a joke? Ha ha ha ha ha... Hmm Thought jokes were supposed to be funny.

EricNorthmansMistress · 23/04/2011 17:54

I'm shocked to read that article. Feeling a bit stupid about leaving DS to sleep in the car now :( He really was fine and the breeze was strong (blew newspaper on the mat all over the hallway) but I won't do it again on hot days.

cherrypez · 23/04/2011 17:55

southmum...that was my biggest concern (if this is true)...naked kid left in car...doesnt bear thinking about wot wuda hapopened if 'the wrong person' walked by!

nulliusxinxverbax · 23/04/2011 17:56

Urgh, you really are disgusting.
Cant control your urges so youre at it in the car, whilst presumably driving your child home?

Then you leave him outside alone naked?

You should be ashamed of yourself, keep your knickers on in future

GitAwfMayLend · 23/04/2011 18:00

Oh dear.

Feel a bit sorry for the OP now.

Is a bit of a flaming isn't it.

NorthernGobshite · 23/04/2011 18:03

YABU.
You left a small sleeping naked child alone in a car.......you are not only unreasonable but stupid too.

Vicky2011 · 23/04/2011 18:05

Please tell me this is a joke. Albeit not a funny one.

If not, then YABVU

We sometimes leave 4yr old DS in the car after we've been out or shopping and he's fell asleep but it is a very quiet street and the car is in a driveway with a huge window looking out onto it which I sit at until he wakes up as he can be horrid when woken up, but only when he has really really needed a nap....and I live in Scotland too so its generally pretty cold here but even then I still wouldn't do it on a hot day.

I wouldn't be able to relax if I lived somewhere that hot and DC was alone locked in a car, and what if your DS had woken up in the car on the way home while yous were getting started and seen something he shouldn't have?
