about fanfiction that features child abuse? Not very nice, sorry

I have a bit of an addiction for Harry Potter fanfic stories Blush of the non-slash variety

I like potionsandsnitches.com especially but sometimes I venture out into the big wide world of fanfiction

and I have wondered for a while about stories which are adult rated and refer to "non-con" or "chan" sexual relationships between adults and underaged kids (HP and his friends, usually)

shurely these stories are illegal? You can't just write lurid fantasies about child abuse and rape and post them on the net, can you?

And if it isn't illegal, well it bloody well should be

Oh you must watch season 4. I remember saying to dh during season 3 that they needed to introduce the other side of the coin. If there are demons, there must be angels. And they got it SO right. It's rare that a guest star can schlep up and be so accepted that they become a regular. And Misha Collins is, well, there are no words.

Dean is spectacularly fucked up and part of why I like writing him. I always seem to end up writing Dean/Cas that's h/c (with a healthy dose of whump first) because Dean's the ideal canvas for that. I just can't do Wincest though. It feels the same as RPS to me. Just a no go area. Except for a certain story that has proven the exception to the rule. A Jared/Jensen rps but totally au.

Misha is very amused by the d/c eye fucking and the fanfic world it seems. And is very good at embarrassing fans by mentioning the unmentionable. First rule of fanfic... He's a bright, beautiful man. Sorry, forgive the mishappreciation, I love him a little bit.

Oh, I have what some might call a wonky moral compass. I do RPF, both AU and not. The first fic I actually wrote was RPF (it was a Mary Sue and awful, but it was before I actually even knew that it was fic - I posted it to a message board (why?!) and my friend signposted me to ff.net and then I found the Blink 182 section and was hooked). I didn't even question it until several years later because I was just holed up in bandom.

And you know the reason why Jared/Jensen can be an exception? Because they are so fucking easy to slash it's ridiculous. And I love them for it. I actually miss it a bit, I haven't written any CW RP or SPN fic in several years now, moved on to other fandoms mostly. I know there must be lots of good stuff I've missed as a reader, and so many opportunities as a writer. What was the AU, by the way?

Oh really - well I stopped at the end of seson 3 because it had just gotten unbearably depressing. But some angels would be great to see... (adds more dvds to list)

The best fact about SG1 is that they bought Daniel back because the fans moaned so much!

Not sure if I should name it specifically on here. If you know it, you'll know it though. High school au (Jared's a senior and 18 before the premise in the op is assumed), Jensen teaches physics. Homework verse. Sound familiar? I can link you in a pm if not.

Castiel the angel LaWeasel. He is unbearably lovely. And the series takes on a new twist really. Did you see the end of s3 and what happened to Dean?

I've never watched SG1. Always wonder if I should.

If you like scifi, SOH, SG-1 really does it very well. There are some truly awful episodes bur mostly it is very good TV.

Pah, I mentioned My Immortal a couple of pages back. Viower Excretion Advisd. (For those who haven't read it, basically what you need to imagine is the Harry Potter stories only everyone, everyone has for some reason become a bisexual, suicidal gothic vampire. And the best line of dialogue in the whole apocalyptically deranged 40 chapters is the one given to Dumbledore when he catches the 'heroine/Marysue' shagging Draco Malfoy in the forbidden forest...)

I am not actually that into fanfic myself, but I have zero patience with people who whine and bleat about 'unacceptable' themes in fiction. It indicates that these people don't read books and have the imagination of houseplants.

Well, damn you. I searched it out and I have read a lot of those sort, but I can't recall reading this one. And now I am, instead of writing my dissertation. (Granted I've been on here all evening also instead of doing that dissertation but now there's a whole 'verse to read...headdesk). Looks good, though.

It's fairly epic. You definitely have the right one? Mild D/s, Chad is Jared's bf? Jensen is the new uptight physics teacher? I lost a night to that fic. I've reread it a couple of times. It's very good indeed. The author has a couple of other excellent verses too.

I have just read that My Immortal for the first time and crying with laughter! Just going back to read the caught in the forest section again for double whammy hilarity!
I used to read pirates of the caribbean fanfic after the first film came out, but haven't read any in years. does anyone have any particular HP/twilight ff recommendations?

SGB I only got as far as that line of Dumbledore's in the forest and the author's explanation for it. I couldn't handle any more of it, even in small doses!

cracks fingers. What kind of twilight would you like? The TSA are always available in adult fiction for recs. They mostly read/write slash or edward/bella but other ships are available. And they favour the lemony goodness also.

Didn't realise there are so many FFers on MN. Did anyone get a chance to read The Draco Trilogy before the author pulled it?

She has a published book out now, so she thought having fanfic floating about on the internet wouldn't be very professional. It was good though.

Also, has anyone else seen that there is pong ff on ff.net? Pong, as in the Atari game with the two lines and a dot playing tennis. I've yet to find an odder ff. Though these are up there with pong.
