Advertising tag-lines and slogans from the past - what can you remember?

'A Mars a day helps you work, rest and play'. Mars bars
'The chocolate and a half.' Cadbury's Dairy Milk

I taught this song to a class a couple of years ago.
Loved this advert.

Wasn't it meant to be both, though? I mean, clearly not a hymn as such, but a dual-use song that, in one version (in the New Seekers recording as released), was an inspirational song about peace and harmony, and in another (the one played on TV), advertising Coke?!

A bit like with Brian May's 'Driven By You' - where it was both 'strongly influenced by' the potential for its use to advertise Ford cars, but also released as a full song with additional lyrics (and changed pronouns - from 'we' - Ford, to 'I' - the singer) that weren't really car-related but much more suggesting a general love song?

Anytime someone says “Cornetto” in my house, I sing “Just one Cornetto…” Every. Single. Time. They love it 😂

I still remember the knock-off t-shirts you get could get from markets at the time - showing the aliens from the advert looking completely stoned and the phrase "On hash get smashed" !

There was one with Olivia Coleman sat in a car plus someone else saying 'Bev' and 'Kev'. Can't remember what it was advertising, so maybe not a good ad .

Mark Williams and wife eating a boring dinner and him saying as the punchline 'We wanna be together '. An ad for pensions i think.

'Walls Pork pie, really tasty all times of the day'. Shown in the ad breaks of TVam. Anyone else remember this?

I always thought it was so obviously 'meant to be' for Barry Scott from the Cillit Bang adverts to marry the Shake 'N' Vac lady!

I used to live in Nottingham and there was a time when many Nottinghamians would have been very familiar with the advertising on local radio for Ford's (local shops; nothing to do with the global car maker): "Ford's: it's your family store; Ford's: where your money buys more!"

I still find myself singing it occasionally, even though it's been gone for decades. The vast majority of people who see this thread won't have the faintest idea what I'm on about; but there may just possibly be one or two nodding along!
