Another heatwave coming.
Are we all ready for heatwave number 5.

No. Sob 🥲. I want it to rain and be freezing temperatures.

It was about 15 degrees here. We had a week of warm Weather and that was it. No heatwave for me and im jealous of those who are complaining. I’d swap if I could.

Same i love cold weather.

Former sun worshiper here. I'm done with this heat.

I want cold and rain. I look longingly at my jumpers and cashmere socks to feel snug and cosy. It's easier to warm yourself on a cold day than cool down in a heatwave.

I normally love this weather. But I’m sick of it. The garden looks dreadful, the car is constantly filthy and it’s a pain in the ass walking the dog - I either have to go mega early when it’s still cool or really late.

Used to it now but does mean we will need to be out in the garden every day.

I am considering moving to Northern Canada. Or anywhere I cannot boil to death, that would be a start.

The entire county (Cornwall) is yellow, the trees are dropping their leaves and looking half dead already, the grass playing fields here are mostly dust and the grass practically gone, the dog hates walking on what's left of the grass now because of all the sharp dead plants hidden beneath it all.

I haven't seen a hedgehog in a fortnight when we usually see them every night and I haven't heard an owl in weeks.

Oh god, I'd forgotten about walking the dog at 5.30am... She's acclimatised to most of it now but when it goes up above 25c again I'll have to be up early once more.

It's not the heat that's the problem, it's the lack of rain. All the grass is dead, plants dying.

At least the 30+c days are only coming 1 or 2 at a time now, so it feels perfectly manageable.

I do enjoy the feeling of a never ending summer. To essentially live outdoors in the garden under the parasol. To be able to cook outside. To swim in the outdoor pool. It's glorious!

That being said, I won't mind at all if it just stuck to highs of about 25c. It would nice to not have to do a 5-6 mile walk at 6am in the morning as well.

Let it be as it will, it will change .

I did make a change i have air/con now im so ready to try it out.

Christ, come to Scotland. I've had my heating on in August!

I love the seasons mind -a boiling summer and Baltic Winter suits me down to the ground !

I swear ive been internally melting since that may heat wave!

On the plus side...no worries drying the washing.

I am just ordered new sun loungers, but my poor garden isn't!
