Ive just been to see Nick Cave. It doesn't get much better. (Are there many things in life better than amazing live music?)

Whats your best gig/ concert?

Been to some fantastic gigs but the absolute best one was Prince in 2007 at the O2 we were in a private box and also went to a secret after show gig that he did I’ll never forget it amazing night

I've seen Prince around 25 times, and he was always amazing - went to one of the after show gigs at the Indigo after the 02 and was lucky that he appeared that night - it was fantastic. Also went to a Prince after show in Kentish Town once in the 90s, which was probably the best concert I've ever been to - very small crowd of about 200 people, and he kept stage diving. So good!

George Michael twice
Take That x 3
DD and I were also at Wembley a couple of weeks ago to see My Chemical Romance - they were absolutely amazing. Definitely one of the best gigs I’ve been to. And I refuse to believe Gerard Way is 49, he looks about 15 minutes older than he did in 2006. #vampire

I'm going to go with the Tsunami relief gig in the Millennium Stadium in 2005. Not because of the music, although there were a good bunch of bands I really liked playing.

No, the reason it was the best gig ever was because over the course of about 8 hours I fell in love.

In no way, shape or form did it work out, we didn't actually go out properly for a year after that, and then lasted a grand total of 3 months. But that day remains in my top 5 days of my life, even 20 years later.

Always been a big gig goer. So I tend to agree with some PP that it's more the gigs that disappointed that stand out and in that category David Bowie's Glass Spider tour wins the prize. I envy those who saw him either in his pomp or later on when he did all his best tunes, because that night he sucked.
As for memorable gigs. Motorhead at the Manchester Apollo in 1980. Anyone of several New Model Army gigs, the stand out being a a pre-tour warm up billed as the Gardeners Of Eden at the Lomax club in Liverpool,. Kiss at Manchester Arena don't even like them but flame throwing guitars - come on! Robert Plant always delivers. And really enjoy a couple of the Monsters of Rock events, helped by getting back stage passes. If actually works we could have had ZZ Top's Eliminator car way!

One of the best in years was Take That - The Circus Tour in Cardiff. Blew our minds! Saw U2 twice & they were absolutely brilliant live. Best of the 2 was Milton Keynes Bowl although Wembley Arena was fab too with Bono climbing all over the stage!
We used to have an amazing venue just down the road which had some massive names appearing. Even Tina Turner in the very early 80s. £4 a ticket!! I so regret not going but I didn’t know who she was!

I regret not going to Live Aid. I was SO mean back then and wouldn't pay £25 for a ticket 😪

I was at Roundhay park twice! Were you there the night it poured down with rain? 😅

We only lived in Leeds for a couple of years - the 1st year was Michael Jackson, can't remember the weather. We had good weather for U2
