Feels like it's been going on forever

Is every summer gonna start to be like this now, evause if so I'm gonna have to get aircon because I can't deal

Fingers crossed it continues!! About time we had decent weather in summer… to be fair it will probably rain next week 🤦‍♂️

My prediction is around 20th July when most schools will have broken up for the summer!

We’ve only just come in. Drinks and dinner outside again - bliss. It’s bloody lovely out there. Before long we’ll be back to crappy weather; we are making the most of it.

Yes, this will be the pattern of our ssummers going forward, some hotter, some less so. But with more frequent, more intense and longer heatwaves in the long term.

I'm finding it really tough. Especially with a toddler. Our house that seems to absorb the heat and hold on to it. Getting in the car feels like an ordeal when it's been baking in the sun.

Today I felt quite unwell with it, not helped by breastfeeding.

Yes of course !! Then it will be grey endless rain.! It's too hot for me though I don't know what's worse.

Probably as schools break up. Although I'm not sure I'll mind a wet summer after spending so many days melting in a greenhouse of a classroom. I'm fed up of ending each day feeling sick from teaching in the heat.

It's 22c outside and 29c in that's 9.45 pm. Fans on windows open. Hoping it will cool down by Monday.

Is that what people think about the climate crisis? Unless it’s over 30C each summer in Derbyshire, it’s not happening? Our summers are becoming unbearable in many places.

My car air con isn't working either, so no relief even once I get going I hope yours is working!
