What's everyone having for dinner in this heatwave?

If you're experiencing the heatwave like we are in Berkshire, UK- then what have you all got planned for dinner?!

I need some inspiration as currently I have no desire to stand over a hot oven, yet feel like I am slowly marinating myself😂

Salmon, new potatoes and salad. Followed by fruit salad.

Rob eye steak creamed spinach and triple cooked chips

Scotch eggs and chips cooked for my partner is having steak and chips

We had tacos and salad.

Tomorrow is a veg stir fry, and Thursday is a cold pasta salad with grilled chicken.

Lemon chicken tray bake.

Lasagne, chips and salad

A Caesar salad with prawns, egg and spring onion added. Then strawberries and ice cream.

There’s a fridge full of salads etc so it’s a DIY supper here!

We just had penne pasta bolognaise and there's plenty left over for tomorrow's dinner.

Kids had beans on toast, I’ve just had two slices of toast. Too hot for anything else!

BBQ at the beach

Me - avocado on toast with feta, chilli jam and a fried egg.

kids - picky tea. I got lots of bits for sandwiches and cold picnic things.

I can’t be bothered to cook. It’s just me, I’m having cucumber, tomato, smoked sausage and feta cheese with Tajin seasoning

Pork pie and limoncello spritzers - have given up 😆

Kids had pizza me and dp are struggling on what to have we just don't fancy anything maybe end up with a takeaway for when the footy is on

Kids have had scotch egg, bread and butter, pringles, apple, cold chicken, cake. Ive had a cheese and cucumber sandwich.

seared tuna steak, salad, then a pint of Ben and Jerry's for the football

Salad and picky tea here. But none of us really feel hungry, so I guess we’ll be eating it tomorrow too !

Just me here so a bowl of fruit with Greek yogurt.

Salmon, cold new potatoes, salad. And cornettos for pudding. Kids had cheese toasties and gazpacho.

Yesterday we had bruschetta with some mozzarella slices on the side, tomorrow is Caesar salad. I won't turning the oven on again until Friday unless I absolutely have to.

Chicken salad for me. Kids had sandwiches, cucumber sticks and fruit.

Cheese sandwich and cold beer. There's no way the oven's going on.

Small fajita (veggie filling pre-made, just microwaved it) with massive (but very simple) salad.

Grilled sea bream and salad. When I can be bothered. Too hot right now.

Will be making prawn and mango summer rolls with a chili dipping sauce. Then apple and yogurt for afters.
