Things you love, which most people hate!

As we have a thread about popular things we hate, I thought it might be fun to hear about the opposite.

Unpopular things that I think are great include:
Bagpipes
The deeply unfashionable Fairport Convention
Pickled gherkins/ onions/ beetroot/ cabbage!

I draw the line at pickled eggs. I was given one in error at the chippy once, and namely tried it. It was like trying to bite into a bouncy ball.

Being left alone
Housework especially piles of washing to get through
Cleaning the toilet every day; gives a lovely sense of ‘clean’
Rainy weather: less people out and about
Food shopping
The cat cuddling me on the bed moulting; doesn’t bother me.
Pease pudding

Insects and "creepy crawlies" especially beetles. Spiders, woodlice. Seagulls and pigeons.

You used to get them in boxes of Roses and Quality Street, they were coffee versions of the strawberry ones, but with a smoother filling. Delicious.

Being single, I love it!! I’m amazed on how many people are desperate for a relationship, or cling onto a bad one just because they don’t want to be alone.

I LOVE folding laundry into neat smooth rectangles. It gives me immense pleasure.

Yep I love all the pickles aswell (including pickled beetroot and pickled cabbage aka sauerkraut)...but I would as I have Polish parents lol

Also love a fried spam and egg sandwich (altho my cholesterol levels may be paying the price 😱😂
....and I really don't mind a chat with a random stranger..
Well, I'll just have to go out and buy some of this salmon Shippams paste (never had it) and make these fishcakes as you and I seem to have lots in common! 😂

Really don’t think cuddling babies is something most people hate 😂

You would be surprised….the lengths I have had to go to so I don’t have to do it…

I hate babies full stop.

But you were one.

Not this one again. On what planet is it logical that people should love babies because they were one once?

What does that have to do with it? We were all babies and children once.

It doesn’t mean that everyone likes babies or children.

And they say it like it’s a ‘gotcha’ 🙄

Traffic jams. Mainly because it gives me guilt free time off from the never ending to do list that my life has become

I don't like babies much. Although I loved my own, I found it a boring grind until they reached about 4 and 2.

Used to love eating green gooseberries lovely sour goodness.
Not saw them in years.

I think this should be added to Classics.

Yankee Black Cherry is the nuts.

Small yappy dogs. They are just trying to inhabit some big dog energy. I prefer to think of them as scrappy.
