Things you love, which most people hate!

As we have a thread about popular things we hate, I thought it might be fun to hear about the opposite.

Unpopular things that I think are great include:
Bagpipes
The deeply unfashionable Fairport Convention
Pickled gherkins/ onions/ beetroot/ cabbage!

I draw the line at pickled eggs. I was given one in error at the chippy once, and namely tried it. It was like trying to bite into a bouncy ball.

Liquorice, my husband thinks I am mad.
The film ‘Summer Holiday’, which I accept is a big pile of 1960s cheese but I have watched it so many times that I know every inflection in every word spoken
@Irememberwhenitwasallfieldsroundhere I also enjoy public speaking. I thought I was the only one!

Also like camping. I like Benidorm too- clean and friendly and I've had some cracking holidays there.

The BBC and generally terrestrial TV. Though I have Netflix and do look
at YouTube I like quizzes. I do go to a range of sources but unlike a lot of MN I mostly trust BBC news.

Physical newspapers- makes me feel very old but I prefer it to reading things like editorial on screen

Real housewives of Beverly hills. It's always interesting to me to see how people to react to stuff. And I like seeing the hair, make up, clothes, handbags, jewellery, houses, gardens etc.

I really like seagulls I’m sure most people hate them. I bought myself a soft toy seagull to put on my bed and I’m in my 50’s.
i really like fish paste think the brand is Shiphams never known anyone else to like it. Music wise I really like The Smiths and The Cure - again never met anyone that likes them.
I love driving and I really love washing my car by hand. Find it massively therapeutic

Parma Violets

Along with other posters, I also like coffee creams, especially dark chocolate ones. And if we have takeaway pizza I always have pineapple on mine.

Cross and the cheap copies. Lab grown diamonds.

Being really warm when I sleep, including wearing socks.

Oh and writing right-handed but eating left-handed.
