Things you love, which most people hate!

As we have a thread about popular things we hate, I thought it might be fun to hear about the opposite.

Unpopular things that I think are great include:
Bagpipes
The deeply unfashionable Fairport Convention
Pickled gherkins/ onions/ beetroot/ cabbage!

I draw the line at pickled eggs. I was given one in error at the chippy once, and namely tried it. It was like trying to bite into a bouncy ball.

I like Yankee Candles. I always have one on the go but most people on here hate the "artificial pong". I also love snakes and spiders!

20th and 21st century classical music and opera
The Book of Common Prayer
Casual threesomes
Sondheim musicals

I know that there are numerically a lot of people who like these things, it just can be a bit hard to find them.

I like the cold. Wet, cold, rainy, grey days are one of my favourite things

Ironing. I love beautifully pressed clothes, and enjoy getting them there.

Per a PP - I too like Benidorm. The TV show and the holiday resort.

My dear friend uploaded to her TV all 150 photos of her holiday. I had to sit through an hour of some photos that were very similar to the last dozen and each one was on the screen for about 15 seconds. After the first 10 I ran out of adjectives to describe the scenery in each one. I'm going to hell, I'm sure

Reading these and I agree with rats, pigeons, snakes, spiders, pineapple on pizza, heels, instant coffee and other people's dreams. I used to analyse my friends dreams for them at school.

McDonald's McMuffins. Sometimes nothing else will do. Preferably with a cappuccino

scent - perfume, wax melts, reed diffusers. Just give me all the scents (I am picky with which ones and I still hate plug in air fresheners)
hospital food - I live alone. Anything cooked for me is fine and when it comes with jam roly poly and custard, I’m not complaining

Any coffee flavoured chocolates - Thornton’s used to do a little box of five or six just coffee flavoured chocolates - my late DF and I used to fall on them.
DH likes tripe and just about all offal. When I go away, he cooks himself a lamb’s heart for a treat, and when we’re in France, he seeks out andouillettes. (To which I say, yuk.)
A PP mentions the Book of Common Prayer - I hadn’t appreciated that anyone might not like it. I was taken aback once when a vicar referred to Hymns Ancient and Modern as Hymns Ancient and mouldy!
Proper nighties - M and S don’t seem to make them any more.
Wearing a slip - I don’t ever not if I’m wearing a dress.

I also think bras are great.
