Am in Spain and have been for 2 months, one more to go. It's 21.45 and still 24 degrees.
I walk the dog first and last thing

24c is not a feckin heatwave

When can I move in?

I’ll have my summer clothes on, and will take the dogs swimming, and maybe myself.

There will be plenty of beers in the fridge, and I’ll be making some feta dip, and cooking some gorgeous food. My kindle will be charged and then I’ll read, and relax.

20 degrees here this weekend and loads of rain Saturday. Yay.

We're getting on a ferry to France where its due to be hotter than here. Nothing but baguettes, swimming and frites for a week. I can't wait!

27c predicted here by Friday. That’s not even warm for running on freezing me. I might take off my oodie, turn the heating off for a few hours and not cuddle a hot water bottle all day. But the electric blanket and heated throw are non negotiable. Mid thirties, then I’m open to discussing.

Got a bbq Saturday afternoon. I intend to get drunk as a skunk. Will get sambuca.

Heatwave in London is set to start this Friday with 27 degrees and continue to next Thursday. I need to repaint my toenails or get them painted.

We're camping this weekend and looking forward to a bit sun hopefully.

Going to a lake not too far from me where you can wild swim in it. Going with my friend (DH is at work.) Planning it for Friday. Hope it is nice.

Celebrate not living in the south!

Sitting on jury duty! Tbf, I don't think we're actually getting it here in Scotland. I shall dream of fence painting, potting my seeds, planting my dahlias and having a reward beer or two in the garden.

Ugh same, I’m never warm so this ‘heatwave’ might help me defrost a little but I’ll be very surprised if I’m not sleeping under my electric blanket at night still!
im optimistic I’ll be able to get my legs out during the days though at least. We’ve got some friends round for drinks and food on Saturday, Sunday I think my family are coming round and Monday I’m hopefully going to be parking my arse on a sunlounger in the garden.
25 - 30 is nice and pleasant but not what I consider a heatwave - I’m still looking forward to maybe not wearing thermal top and bottoms though!

Do the garden or maybe a trip to the beach. It will be a lovely temperature for a few days. I struggle once it gets to about 28c or more but only if I have to work in it.

I was looking at memories from 2020 on this day - family was in teeshirts and shorts and the pool was being set up! Today I am in a jumper and debating about putting heating on…

Lounging by the outdoor pool at David Lloyd. I’ve booked next week off so it’ll be like being on holiday.

Mostly being at home playing in the garden and kids will swim in the river or with neighbours in their pond. I’ll do some gardening. Dh wants to take dc wild camping for a few days, but I will stay home to look after the animals.

We live where everyone comes on holiday and I’d rather poke my eye out than go to the beach on a sunny day in the school holidays. 😂

I’ve bought 2 aircon units, and looking forward to trying them out. Last summer was me done trying to cope in heat

Heatwave? We're due a couple of days of 21C before it starts raining again. I'd just be glad of a chance get out of jeans and jumpers and turn the heating off.
