£150

Negroany · 19/12/2025 15:10

Mine was £65, and that was to take to my brother's where there were only four of us eating one meal.

I picked up a few other bits which cost me over £70!

So, if yours is for the whole holiday and you're hosting, I'm going with 3x that - so £190?

RescueMeFromThisSilliness · 19/12/2025 15:10

£183.26

clary · 19/12/2025 15:11

It depends how much you bought really. Mine would be very cheap! How many cheeses? To serve how many? For a cheeseboard with say six varieties to serve 10 people, say, I wouldn’t expect change from
£100 tbh.

PeonyPatch · 19/12/2025 15:11

£90 or thereabouts? I've for a fraction of that and mine was over £30.

I’ve never heard of any of those! So I’m gonna guess they all super fancy £250

PeonyPatch · 19/12/2025 15:15

Maybe £200.

Incorrect!

Seems like I got a bargain at £121.

It's my standard Christmas cheese order, usually about £80-90.

Just felt a bit toppy!

Never heard of any of your stuff but nit surprising as I’m not a cheese person. 😂

I usually buy DH a wedge of Stilton in a tub as he likes it as a treat.

I’m going to guess £146 for your cheese shopping.

Oops - edited to say I hadn’t seen your update as posted just after you.

TomatoSandwiches · 19/12/2025 15:25

That's not bad for your order imo but I am in the SE, that would be nearer £200 here.
I hope you enjoy it when the time comes.

Livingthebestlife · 19/12/2025 15:26

121 quid on cheese 😲😲 Jesus my turkey and ham and lots of sides don't even cost that, my blood pressure is rising reading that list, would keel over with a heart attack.

PeonyPatch · 19/12/2025 15:26

£120 doesn’t seem that bad for what you’ve gor there

Did you do that mad grin we all do when paying for something that costs more than expected, trying to hide the fact that what we really want to say is, thats too much, I need to put something back!

TicklishReader · 19/12/2025 15:27

Six thousand pounds.
