Thanks @DuncinToffee.
Cat tax provided. I have asked, but neither cat has expressed an opinion on the budget.

Little Tennyson is not impressed by the suggestion that he might like to take a constitutional in the wet garden.

Stratford Upon Avon. Shakespeare had Welsh characters in his plays, notably Sir Hugh Evans, The Merry Wives of Windsor and the play Cymbeline was set in Milford Haven.

Gorgeous. My friend lives within walking distance of those beautiful gardens.

Also King Lear. Quite clearly an anglicised version of the Welsh name Llŷr.
Dog tax in the form of Scooter, a large and boisterous hound who is currently in need of a foster home - or better yet a permanent one. He’s strong but clever and loving. If anyone thinks they can help him, I can hook you up.

Croeso! There isn’t much usually to be honest, but the chat is good.

Thanks, Duncin, it was getting a bit close!

I'm a bit overdrawn so had to scrabble down the back of the sofa for tax but I came across an article about the red dress, today, which I was lucky enough to see a couple of years ago.

I'm not a big dog person but he's my kind of dog.

BIossomtoes · 28/11/2025 23:10

And mine but I don’t think Gladys and Monty would welcome him somehow. And three dogs would be ridiculous.

DanDin · 28/11/2025 23:13

"dechreuodd y plant ei" beth?

Mae'r anifeiliaid yn mynnu cadw eu preifatrwydd,

Dwi yma achos mod i'm meddwl mai "dechreuodd y plant eu" ddyliau fod y teitl.

BestIsWest · 28/11/2025 23:14

@BIossomtoes your friend is very lucky. I’m a member and it’s one of my favourite places.

He’s a love, but he’s a whole lot of dog. Bays when he sees other dogs. Anxious. Strong. But so loving. He’s the goodest boi.

Shock Dwi yn y lle anghywir!

cardibach · 28/11/2025 23:19

@DanDin as I understand it, eu = their. We wanted it, hence ei (or e).

DanDin · 28/11/2025 23:21

Got it! chwech/saith - y plant ddechreuodd e
or chwech/saith - y plant ddechreuodd o. (Gog)

The title reads as 'six/seven - the children started (her/his/)its'

rockstarshoes · 28/11/2025 23:25

My cat has taken onboard the MN advice of getting his ducks in a row! I hope he’s not LTB!
