Bonnie Blue -sex positivity or old fashioned shame?

mids2019 · 18/01/2025 05:49

Bonnie Blue.....just why?

I guess we have a woman that has made a lot of money and notoriety out of an act but I really can't see this as being a positive really. I guess it does highlight the age old question whether we should be against at female promiscuity or not be judgemental about how a woman use her body but it does seem rather crass.

Anyway I prefer other world records perosnally.

I do at heart feel pity for her as I think the psychological impact will be real and damaging. The question then becomes have we as a society enabled this through being sexually liberal as a generalisation?

Yoheresthestory · 18/01/2025 07:54

I think it’s complex. I don’t know how it could not be extremely damaging underneath it all but I wonder if there’s more angles to it and the focus on the sex is incorrect. Maybe she/they actually have a kink for this? It’s not impossible when I consider what turns me on. Could that change the angle?

Ponkyandthebrain · 18/01/2025 07:55

I do think there is an enemy of ‘sex positivity’ that can just fuck off though. That women should support the abuse of women if it is their ‘choice’. It’s just recycled patriarchy and misogyny

Mummyoflittledragon · 18/01/2025 07:55

Shrinkingrose · 18/01/2025 07:52

Christ, I didn’t know that. That’s messed up. Really messed up

I didn’t know either. How awful. I just looked her up. She’s 25. Lily Philips is 23. What’s that saying about youth being wasted on the young?

onwardsup4 · 18/01/2025 07:56

I'm not going to look it up but has she actually said she thinks this is empowering women? Totally deluded and the men are just disgusting

Fourfurrymonsters · 18/01/2025 07:57

It’s all just fucking awful tbh. Her, her parents (don’t even get me started on them, I have a DD the same age as BB, the parents are just foul), the men…all of it. She doesn’t come across well either with her foolish derogatory comments towards other women, who are likely all contributing more positively to society than she is. The irony is that she’s only in her 20s but already looks much, much older due to the fillers, Botox and lifestyle. Her “looks” aren’t going to last long and then what? The rest of her life being known only as a series of holes for men’s cocks. We’ve doubtless all done things in our 20s we regret when we’re older and wiser, but this is on a different level entirely.

forgotmyusername1 · 18/01/2025 07:43

The sex must have been awful for the blokes as well. 45 seconds, someone with a stop watch to end your allotted time. A massive line of men with their dicks out behind you and a load of used condoms and jizzed in tissues on the floor to remind you of who has been before.

😂 morons

Luddite26 · 18/01/2025 07:57

People have different morals and standards.
I don't know why religion has been mentioned as the levels of misogyny and depravation that have been covered up are off the scale.
It's the effects Only Fans will have on children who can access it easily that is the problem. Hearing about shit like this and growing up to think it's normal is not fair.
Men queueing for their 45 seconds are pathetic.

I find it so saddening that there’s over 1000 men willing to participate too. Shows the lack of respect for women and sex.

How can you talk about women and respect when she has invited men to have a free for all on her body. She needs to have respect for herself

mids2019 · 18/01/2025 08:03

Of course Bonnie has done nothing illegal and we do love in a sexually liberal society where we don't criminalise consenting sexual activity between adults and there must be reason for this. The only sanction Bonnie faces is moral repugnance.

I do think money is a factor and I think some of the reluctance does originate from the fact someone has become extremely wealthy (and famous?) through a means a lot of people feel repugnant and shameful.

The men are stupid I agree but again not criminal.

One thing the media should do is to prevent giving publicity to another record breaking attempt......

I realised yesterday that I know who her mum is. We have spoken a few times. I’m not entirely surprised she’s involved. It also explains why mum seemed so much more wealthy than you’d expect.
The whole thing is beyond grim.

I asked my husband what he thought about her and he said that he thought she was a repugnant cum bucket.

I'm glad that there are still decent men around.

I also can't believe the number of men in that timeframe. It's one every 43 seconds.

She's not doing herself any favours and I think she will regret it in the future.

The previous record breaker was interviewed and she said that she really regretted the stunt.

It makes me feel sick. I don't think it's empowering at all. She is naive and deluded.

This is ironic.

THAT'S how you think a decent man would react?

WhoisRebecca · 18/01/2025 08:11

I asked my husband what he thought of that poster’s husband’s thoughts and we both laughed at the irony.

She’s just found a rather gross way of making a lot of money. Up to her what she does, but it’s sad that there is a market for that.

mids2019 · 18/01/2025 08:12

I am guessing she came from a.poor family? (Maybe not?!).

I wonder if poverty of Bonnie and her family had an influence on what they felt was morally allowable in the pursuit of a lifestyle they would never have dreamed of through traditional career options?

Damnloginpopup · 18/01/2025 08:13

How is it feminism or sex-positive?

"Hey boys! here's a hole, come fill it."

Not a single person involved with that entire event is worthy of anything other than contempt.

And to answer 'what's next', Lily is saying she's going for the maximum amount of scum up her arse.

Deplorable. And I'm well into sex

GRCP · 18/01/2025 08:16

I'm seeing more judgement on the men now which I'm glad about. I do feel the shame and embarrassment lies with them - queueing and grouping round her, what is wrong with them. And 1000+ all willing to do it. I don't understand men at all.

With her, I do wonder if this is some kind of trauma response? Or what it is. I understand the desire for attention and notoriety - lots of people have that. It just seems so physically extreme - penetration for 12 solid hours. There must have been injuries. Still, if she's mentally healthy enough to decide to do this then fair enough. Couldn't think of a worse way to spend a day myself!

You're talking a lot about the moral side of it. I personally feel no moral repugnance about it. I couldn't care less if women are promiscuous. I don't see it as a moral issue. It's more about their sex drives and what they enjoy.
What's unpleasant about this particular situation is just that it's kind of unnatural. No woman, no matter how much she enjoys sex, would enjoy sex with one thousand men, back to back. It must be an unpleasant experience and cause some kind of physical discomfort or damage. It's not erotic or sexy or empowering or fun or pleasurable. It's just a bit of a weird thing to do. People describing the stench as nauseating makes it seem disgusting but it's not a moral issue in my mind.

HelpNeededBeforeIHaveABreakdown · 18/01/2025 08:19

It's self harm

mids2019 · 18/01/2025 08:19

She's rich and famous. Amazing what people will do for these things and hasn't it ever been such?

She's voiced opinion on the press throughout the world and I guess people like a lot of us will never have that exposure (no pun intended).

Is Bonnie a result of our society as well as her own decisions? Is there not the the thought that if someone shows someone a 'career' worth 3M a year someone will not take it. There is always a hole in the market to be filled.

Have you asked your husband about his thoughts on the 1057 vile men who willingly participated in this event, every single one of them knowing that there are a thousand more men lined up about to engage in the same thing for fun? And yet he’s only made that comment about her.

GRCP · 18/01/2025 08:22

@skiingisheaven

My DH said "god, I hope she's OK"

That's what a decent man sounds like, sorry. Insulting a woman isn't decent.

mids2019 · 18/01/2025 08:24

SallyWD

That's interesting.

I guess it would be unpleasant maybe painful (and smell?) but you could argue that people do John's that involve a lot of unpleasantness for a lot less than 3M?

I agree to my mind it's unnatural but how do you define natural.... that is why I thought the moral angle was interesting as personal and social moriality. acts a 'brand's on such behaviour.
