Bonnie Blue -sex positivity or old fashioned shame?

mids2019 · 18/01/2025 05:49

Bonnie Blue.....just why?

I guess we have a woman that has made a lot of money and notoriety out of an act but I really can't see this as being a positive really. I guess it does highlight the age old question whether we should be against at female promiscuity or not be judgemental about how a woman use her body but it does seem rather crass.

Anyway I prefer other world records perosnally.

As a teacher I worry about the message being sent to young people

mids2019 · 01/02/2025 07:44

The message to young people is worrying......easy money and fame.

What is maybe worrying is that in 2025 you do not have any political or devious figures commenting. No statement by MPs or even the church of England. A lot of voices are silent on this. Teachers do not have a pedestal to openly condemn this with the obvious professional repercussions as well as the presence of a liberal society.

I think the insult is towards those that have to do sex work to survive or are coerced into it where it is a lot more dangerous. It is the fake veneer of glamour that seems really bizarre but in one level of seems to work.....The tabloids seem quite happy to give a blow by blow account of these stunts.

Is the internet partially to blame for all of this? Especially the rise of SM and the dark world of Only Fans where Instagram meets pornhub? It seems Only Fans has a veneer of respectability as a 'modelling ' site but appears something akin to a gateway drug for women into the world of porn.

Also column space in the tabloid media. Is there something more worthy of reporting on this planet than Lily Philips anal preparations?

One thing I do think needs highlighting that being a poem actress is statistically one of the most fatal jobs on the planet with an average death age of 40 K believe with auicide, mental breakdown, overdose etc. to blame.

Do these women hope to buck that trend and escape mentally unscathed with millions in their back pockets?

I think there’s a good point here - especially as I keep seeing BB described in the media as an “Only Fans model,” or “Only Fans Star,” when she is clearly acting in hardcore porn.

I worry a lot of young people (men as well as women, there are quite a lot of men on OF) see this as a route to easy money, posting photos of themselves semi naked looking glam and fit, when many are very quickly drawn into much more extreme acts to make the money.

Have you not read (and taken in), anything that DMS88 (20.33 yesterday) has written?

What she (Bonnie Blue) does affects all of us.

We all have free will but we also have a responsibility to society. That is called "social responsibility". Social responsibility is one’s responsibility to society and to humanity in general. It involves adherence to law and established standards of behavior in and for the general public. eg: we don't throw our rubbish into other peoples' front gardens.

Individual responsibility is ones responsibility to one’s self and can include one’s family and close friends an associates.

Disregarding social responsibility in favour of individual concerns is known as social pathology.

She's not committing any crime though.

And as society goes, she is far from the worst person out there.

I'd rather have bonnie blue having sex with a lot of men

Than have all the killers, rapists and paedophile that exist out there.

As a teacher I worry about the message being sent to young people

I could not agree more.

I saw a programme on C4 some time ago about sex education in schools. The example was taken from Year 11.
A class of pupils (equal numbers of each sex) were asked to write a short essay ( anonymous, but with just M/F on paper) saying what they thought the end of a perfect date should be like.

The girls wrote about walking on the beach and/or going paddling, sitting on a park bench holding hands and watching the sun set, some said planning the next date etc.
Worryingly, 50% of the boys said they would like it to end with them ejectulating on the girl's face.
The two groups were split up and the boys were asked about why they said this and some of the responses were troubling. Some said that they wouldn't kiss a girl unless she gave them a "bj" first and not only that they expected them to swallow semen as well, "out of respect".
Many of them couldn't understand why a girl would not go along with these scenarios.

This tells me that some boys have grown up on a diet of porn which makes them objectify women and disrespect girls' boundaries.

Lily Phillips and Bonnie Blue don't help this mindset.

I think it's fine. Men are having gang bangs in porn hub.

She's not any worse than any of them.

She does it in larger numbers.

But gang bangs have been filmed for a long time

So you think that BB's activities are "fine" because of what is shown on Porn Hub (which we know promotes a fantasy) and because 'gangbangs' have been filmed for some time?

That seems a strange kind of logic to me🤔

So, is any kind of human behaviour OK with you as long as it's legal?

Yes I think it's fine honestly. Why do I care how much sex another woman has.

I couldn't care less. I have one friend who I know has only had sex with one person.

I have another friend who has sex with a different man every weekend.

How much sex they have is their choice. I don't care.

Bonnie is making money from it but she's not doing anything new , porn stars have been around for ages.

If you're against bonnie are you against all porn?

Daisychainsforme · 03/02/2025 03:42

@Applecharm25 If you're against bonnie are you against all porn?

Yes, I'm against all porn.

and, I also don't care how much sex other people have, so, as it doesn't concern me I'd rather they kept it to themselves.

Quoting from myself further upthread

"gang bang style sex with many men and one woman isn't about her sexuality, it's about the sexuality of the men and their bonding experience. They are the people, she is just the playing field."

You can't go into somewhere where the baseline power dynamic is as incredibly skewed as porn is and play "if it's ok for men it's ok for the women", because the men and the women are starting from very different places and the audience reads what happens to them and what they do in very different ways even if it's exactly the same thing.

But one could say

"How is she just the playing field if she organises the whole thing herself, she works for herself, and makes money.

She has decided to do it. No one is forcing her. I saw a brief interview with her, and in it she said that she was extremely happy and likes what she does.

Sure, but the audience doesn't read the scene differently just because the woman chose to be there. They still get off on the degradation.

It might financially empower a single woman but that does not make it a feminist act. It fits absolutely fine with the dominant patriarchal normalisation of the abuse of women.

Selling yourself as the product means you get to keep the money, but it's not going to mean anyone suddenly gives the woman in the centre of the gang bang the same "respect" as the men around her. She's still a thing they use.

I'm not blaming her for that BTW. If somewhere along the line, whether from intimate experiences or society as a whole, she's come to conclusion that being treated this way for money is the best path for her and she understans the personal risks then it's a rational decision.

But it's not equivalent to a man doing the same thing, for her or for society as a whole. Hyperindividualism is a myth. We all exist in society and that means the boundary of an individual's act is wider than the individual.

Daisychainsforme · 03/02/2025 17:37

@FlirtsWithRhinos You have reinforced what I said up thread, thank you.

You have fallen for the false narrative that's been spouted by every female porn actor since the year dot.
"I'm so hot. I love sex, it's a hobby for me, I love giving pleasure, I can't get enough cck and pssy, it's empowering, I'm making a mint, I have a great life, I love it that guys line up to f*ck me. etc etc."

It's a form of coping for them.

Do you really think that Bonnie B really enjoys gangbangs where she sucks dozens of strange mens' unwashed, sweaty, urine covered penises ? (No condoms for oral sex BTW)
I saw a video of Bonnie B advertised as "Bonnie Blue becomes a p*ss bucket". No prizes for guessing what that was about.

The financial rewards must be astronomically high and her self-esteem extremely low for her to agree to such depersonalization and degradation.

Just have a look at her eyes and you'll see she's dead inside.

@Daisychainsforme I haven't fallen for anything.

Some sex workers do of course enjoy their job.

It's easy money.

I met a stripper once who told me that stripping was the best thing that she had ever done. As the money turned her life around.

Cardi b (the singer) said that she really liked being a stripper as it turned her life around . She had been stone broke before she became a stripper. After she became a stripper, she was able to buy her own apartment.

Of course many sex workers, only fans workers are happy doing their job.

They make big money. And money is important to people

alwaysontheloo · 03/02/2025 18:14

Why is it people rush to say that anything is fine if someone is making money from it?
Some things are more important than money.
Money doesn't make everything you do, no matter how damaging or destructive it is, ok.
I see women like BB and LP as self harming. But they're harming other women in the process. I've seen threads about her on SM where man after man basically call her a cum bucket and a slag. They say nothing at all about the men involved.
There is such a worrying tide of misogyny from the red pill manosphere losers to the average man in the street. I really worry for our daughters what kind of world this is becoming.

I think there is a huge difference between being a stripper and getting involved in hard-core, violent, degrading porn,

BB & LP are choosing the latter downward track.

They have both featured in such films produced by porn companies.

The average career of a porn actress is 3 years.

Here's a tip - not everything is about you. I didn't even read your post before I posted so you can chill down.

Where are you getting all this Happy Hooker info from? Are you a prostitute yourself?

In the 90s I used to live next door to a prostitute who made a lot of money. She used to trot out the tropes you're spouting but her life was far from happy and she was very damaged by what she did. Just because someone says they are happy doing that line of work doesn't mean they aren't the lies they tell themselves so they can continue.

Again, just because money is necessary for survival doesn't mean that there aren't a million and one things more important than money.

You also seem to be side stepping the many women who are trafficked and pimped and make no money from it. But hey it's ok because they all love it right?
