Bonnie Blue -sex positivity or old fashioned shame?

Bonnie Blue.....just why?

I guess we have a woman that has made a lot of money and notoriety out of an act but I really can't see this as being a positive really. I guess it does highlight the age old question whether we should be against at female promiscuity or not be judgemental about how a woman use her body but it does seem rather crass.

Anyway I prefer other world records perosnally.

Frankly anybody who finds her "empowering" or similar is an absolute simp to the patriarchy.

She definitely wouldn't have been on record breakers with Roy castle and the Mcwhirter brothers.
Joking aside made a lot of money but at what cost mentally and physically ?

mids2019 · 18/01/2025 06:52

Dedication is all you need......

I think you have to be concerned about bullying of future children or immediate family having to face awkward conversations. I think one thing that is wrong is that Bonnie doesn't seem to acknowledge how many women are forced into sex work through coercion, poverty or substance addiction and in a way does this not undermine the work done by a lot of people in highlighting the real struggles of those engaging in paid sex work?

she made 3 million pounds in 2024.....bless.

Does this make a statement on our society where people providing care for the elderly are on minimum wage. Maybe a Bonnie was always going to be a result of OnlyFans with the concept simply taken to an extreme?

Could you argue that there may be a psychological cost and perhaps some physical tiredness but when you get 3 million? Aren't there many workers who suffer both mentally and physically who get a fraction of this?

Well she’ll probably be able to retire early and is earning an absolute fortune for very little effort or skill. Lots of people could never earn that without generational wealth so I can see the appeal. That’s not to say I could do it. I doubt she’ll live a mentally stable and balanced life and wonder how she’ll feel about all the comments she’s made about women being lazy and stealing husbands as her looks and sex appeal fades.

Yes of course you could argue that. What’s your point?

Youngheartsalittletogetherness · 18/01/2025 07:02

Lot of money but to debase yourself to that level.
I feel more sympathy for sex workers that didn't have choices in life.
The men that take part are disgusting.
I'm probably old fashioned but sex should be a private experience and not involve a hundred participants.

silentpool · 18/01/2025 07:06

I can't even read the articles about it. It's awful for her and dreadful for those who participated.

NewYearStillFat · 18/01/2025 07:10

I find it so saddening that there’s over 1000 men willing to participate too. Shows the lack of respect for women and sex.

BeethovenNinth · 18/01/2025 07:11

Just sad.

Youngheartsalittletogetherness · 18/01/2025 07:14

@NewYearStillFat and a lack of self respect for themselves.
To take part in that = no moral compass.

LivingLaVidaBabyShower · 18/01/2025 07:16

She is a human black mirror episode.
Its just awful all round.

MsGoodWife · 18/01/2025 07:23

So self destructive. I fear this will be a short and sad life. The men involved should know they are taking advantage of an extremely damaged woman. Her mother is filth personified, cleaning up after them all. The whole thing is sickening.

mids2019 · 18/01/2025 07:23

Good point about black mirror - it seems a dystopian perversion of feminisim.

Yet ha e has the oxygen of publicity and the money that comes with it. It opens up the moral debate that of you have an OnlyFans account and sleep with approximately 1000 men in one session but Dean 30 x the money an NHS consultant earns what does this show about society and the commoditization of sex.

Is it only a societal repugnance that limits such entrepreneurship?

I actually think the moral question is one she wished to push out there. It brings into question should there be guardians of morality in a post religious society and how do we go about agreeing a moral compass as a diverse society?

Is everyone confusing Lily Philips with Bonnie Blue?

mids2019 · 18/01/2025 07:26

When you say short and sad life I really do hope she doesn't suffer as a fellow human being. However isn't part of the shock about this the wealth she has made and how accumulation of that wealth is perfectly legal? Maybe people just feel it's a slap in the face when we have real financial concerns doing socially positive jobs?

No, why?

Youngheartsalittletogetherness · 18/01/2025 07:27

The moral compass should come from within your own being.
Just to underline I'm not some kind of puritan but the depths that parts of society has sunk to is alarming.

mids2019 · 18/01/2025 07:27

You would easily find 1000 men. Such is human nature.

I don’t think you can criticise Bonnie Blue but not also the participants. They are equally as depraved.

boltt · 18/01/2025 07:29

That's 43 seconds each.

I really doubt this happened

mids2019 · 18/01/2025 07:29

Is that kind of the point? Is it moral to sleep with multiple men? Is it moral to benefit from any kind of sexual relationship financially? Maybe this is bringing up a real discourse on morality and holding a mirror up to society?

OP posts:
SkiingIsHeaven · 18/01/2025 07:29

I asked my husband what he thought about her and he said that he thought she was a repugnant cum bucket.

I'm glad that there are still decent men around.

I also can't believe the number of men in that timeframe. It's one every 43 seconds.

She's not doing herself any favours and I think she will regret it in the future.

The previous record breaker was interviewed and she said that she really regretted the stunt.

It makes me feel sick. I don't think it's empowering at all. She is naive and deluded.

NooNakedJacuzziness · 18/01/2025 07:34

Did your DH say what he thought of the men involved as well @SkiingIsHeaven ?
