What do you drink before a night out?

What alcoholic predrinks do you and your friends have before a night out? I'm looking for inspiration as it's been a while since I've been out! I'm thinking white wine or prosecco however I tend to drink them too slowly..

I don't drink anything before a night out, I save myself for the main event.

Nothing.

The drinks are very £££ where we're going sadly!

A nice Zinfandel or Rum and Diet Coke usually.

Tea.

None. I wouldn't eat before going out for a meal either. Our children used to do 'pre-drinks' when they were in their late teens/early 20s, but stopped once they left uni.

I always eat before I go out, even if dinner is involved, so happy to drink beforehand. I thought predrinks were the norm..

I don't. I'm not an 18 year-old in 2000.

We used to have cocktails, or if it was summer and we were drinking in the garden we’d have pimms. Usually it would be mulled wine before a Christmas night out.

Now I have a coffee because I’m getting old and tired and I need the caffeine!

I never do! Why would you eat before going out to dinner?

I might have one beer if I'm ready before taxi comes,but otherwise it would be just when out. When i was under 22 I would have drank vodka before going out..

Well I am quite old with adult children and I still have a glass of wine getting ready or maybe even more!

I dont really drink any more but if I do I go for cream soda and vanilla vodka. (normal works as well)
or
vanilla vodka and lemonade

I like my drinks to be sweet and simple

I like a glass or two of wine or prosecco, or if I'm tired an espresso martini does the trick.

Nothing - not sure why I would really. My DD drinks vodka and cranberry or wine.

I tend to just have a beer or a g&t whilst I'm getting ready. I don't like to start on wine too early.

No sweetheart we are adults. Why on earth do you need to eat and drink before you go out ? Are you 18?

We tend to have a batch of margaritas or make some seasonal cocktails. Next week we are going to try the Grinch cocktails.
