I mean I get why megastars happen, they usually have mass popular appeal.

Give me your great overlooked musicians/ groups/ bands.

I’ll start: My Brightest Diamond. Not cool, not poppy but just so skilled, well-arranged and melodic.

I know he's big, but not as big as he should be with the voice and the song writing skills he has at such a young age.

@mrstea301 perhaps our paths have crossed at a Maxïmo Park gig! Love their music and they are fantastic live. I've lost count of how many times I've seen them. Paul Smith is a great front man.
I used to sit next to the dad of one of Nothing but Thieves at work, lovely bloke. I remember him being so proud when they got their big deal. I think the parents had been very supportive of the boys but also realistic in case things didn't work out.

I've not RTFT but if I'm the first to mention 10cc I shall be very disappointed. They were (and still are) SO much more than 'I'm not in love'.

If you like her you'll probably like Within Temptation and Nightwish.

Kevin Simm - his version of Chandelier is incredible.

Will Young - I know he has been pretty big at times and some of it his own choice but his voice is Elton John levels.

Also Howard Donald should have had his own solo career.

Cast should be a lot bigger than they are.
Venus Hum were also woefully overlooked IMO. Annette Strean's voice is amazing.
