Give me one underrated band/singer/ group

Do you listen to someone and can’t understand how they aren’t megastars??

I mean I get why megastars happen, they usually have mass popular appeal.

Give me your great overlooked musicians/ groups/ bands.

I’ll start: My Brightest Diamond. Not cool, not poppy but just so skilled, well-arranged and melodic.

@MyrtleStrumpet Just been googling (internet stalking) Wildwood Kin, and discovered they’re relaunched as a duo called Fieldlily. As Wildwood Kin(ie as a threesome), they had superb harmonies.

Mystery Jets are one of my favourite bands ever. So many different styles and yet you can always tell it's them. Amazing live too.

Nice to see one of these threads featuring artists that are genuinely quite niche and will be new to many posters. Often, threads like this fill up with people saying 'Madonna' or 'Duran Duran'.

I saw them supporting Muse a few years back. They were fantastic 🙌

KALEO. Icelandic rock/blues band. I’ve seen many artists live but I saw them for the first time last week and can say hands down their singer JJ has the best voice I’ve ever heard..deep, heavy, just the right amount of gravel. They’re superb on record but shivers-down-the-spine good live.
