Pop to the corner shop in joggers and scruffy t shirt and trainer. Hair in a scruffy un-brushed bun and not brushed teeth or washed face!

We only had milk for one coffee and everyone else still asleep!

I'd brush my teeth but otherwise yes

MichaelAndEagle · 21/09/2024 07:39

Yes

Hopebridge · 21/09/2024 07:40

I would brush my hair and teeth quickly then yes

Mikunia · 21/09/2024 07:40

I would brush my teeth and hair and wear my usual clothes.

AgnesX · 21/09/2024 07:41

Yes... although I'd send DH. He's a racing snake and much quicker!

MeinKraft · 21/09/2024 07:41

I’d go out like that any time of day 😬

PineConeOrDogPoo · 21/09/2024 07:47

Yes

thehungryteacher · 21/09/2024 07:50

Right. This is promising!

Im thinking slipper is a step too far?

GuestFeatu · 21/09/2024 07:50

Yes, why is this even a question?

Nagatha · 21/09/2024 07:51

Absolutely. I’ve done it a few times.

honestasever · 21/09/2024 07:52

I would have no problem going out like that (my teeth would already be brushed as I do that as soon as I wake up) but I would take my drink black.

CantConfessWontConfess · 21/09/2024 07:52

Brush hair and teeth, trainers on (definitely no slippers, I have standards!) big coat and off I would go!

OraettaMayflower · 21/09/2024 07:53

What are the alternatives?

Imnotarestaurant · 21/09/2024 07:53

I’d brush my teeth before I went.

taybert · 21/09/2024 07:53

Every single person on a local shop looks like this at this time on a Saturday. Don’t wear your slippers because they’ll get all outsidey then but otherwise it’s not worth a second thought.

NewSchoolYearRevamp · 21/09/2024 07:53

Yes although I’d probably brush my teeth. I’d wear shoes not slippers though but more as u wouldn’t want slippers to have been worn on the streets then back in the house!

LynetteScavo · 21/09/2024 07:53

I'd pop to the shop looking a mess and bump into someone I hadn't seen since high school. I'd then come home and tell DH I didn't drink milk and he needs to let me know when it's running out and he'd wonder why I was so grumpy.

RickyGervaislovesdogs · 21/09/2024 07:54

No. 🤣 Car ride for me, could break down, have an accident, hmmm no chance!

Ghilliegums · 21/09/2024 07:55

I would kill to do this as I'd have to get in the car. But even so I'd clean my teeth and brush my hair, trainers and big coat. I'd probably do tinted lip balm as well as there's one in every coat pocket

CherryValley5 · 21/09/2024 07:55

Nope! I don’t understand the British obsession with milk, it’s not vital to every meal in our house.

DoAWheelie · 21/09/2024 07:55

I'd order milk from a corner shop or supermarket on just eat, and throw in any other bits and bobs I needed to hit minimum delivery.

I'm disabled and getting to the nearest shop and back would take me a couple of hours where as ordering in I'll have it in my hand within 30 mins max. Often as little as 10 mins.

soupfiend · 21/09/2024 07:57

Dont most people look like this anyway, most of the time?

NewMe2024 · 21/09/2024 07:58

Yes. Not slippers though. And I would probably brush my teeth for my own sake. It would take a killer hangover to go out without brushing teeth and with slippers on. Or else be like, 4AM. By 7AM the day has started.

Not every meal for my house......but morning coffee/tea yes

Cuwins · 21/09/2024 07:58

Absolutely but then those clothes are my standard outfit!
I would brush my teeth when I shoved the clothes on plus run a brush through my hair but it's not long enough to put up.
