Pop to the corner shop in joggers and scruffy t shirt and trainer. Hair in a scruffy un-brushed bun and not brushed teeth or washed face!

We only had milk for one coffee and everyone else still asleep!

I’d always brush my hair…it looks like a bird’s nest at the best of times 😂. I wouldn’t brush my teeth as I like to do that after breakfast/first cup of tea. Never slippers.

I send one of my DC if possible.

Can’t you live without a tea or coffee though, even for a few hours until it’s more convenient to go out to the shop? I’d definitely make do with juice etc or use cream in my coffee instead - apart from house burning down there’s not much that could convince me to go out at 7am🤣

Sure. Was at Tesco at 10 past seven this morning doing a shop, tho I mainly got up because DH was snoring and I couldn't sleep anyway. I was washed and dressed and presentable tho (I think).
I only actually went out for milk but it was so quiet I got a load of other stuff too. Just having my breakfast now

Which corner? At school we were told there were four corners of the world, so it could be a long way. Especially in slippers.

I’d probably just drink my coffee black. But mostly because we have to drive to a shop and that adds an extra level of effort. Otherwise yeah, I’d just pop out in scruffies.

If we run out of milk it’s a 15 mile round trip by car, we do without until we are up and out for the day!

If I had a corner shop I’d go scruffy, brushed teeth and in clothes that don’t smell but wouldn’t worry about what I looked like.

I’d brush my teeth and hair, put on a suitable outfit and go to the shop.

It must be exhausting being that uptight.

There’s self checkout at our nearest shop so yes I’d do this. If I knew I’d definitely have to interact with someone I’d brush my teeth first. I always brush my hair first thing in getting up anyway (hate it feeling all birdsnesty) so that’d be ok.

I can make myself presentable in 2 minutes, run a brush through my hair and tie up, throw on jeans and a top, no i wouldn't brush teeth as haven't had breakfast.

Top tip: also wear a really THICK top, then you don’t have to bother putting a bra on either.

(But wouldn't occur as I hate milk in drinks 😁)

Gosh never. But I always brush teeth and do hair as soon as I wake up and then get dressed. So I'd already be 'ready' for the day. (Before kids wake up as it's the only chance I'd get)

Not really. The truth of the matter is I’d never run out of milk, so I’d be relaxing with my cup
if coffee while you ventured out with bad breath and a tracksuit.

We have emergency milk in the freezer... ice cube bags. Game changer.

Theoretically yes, but I can tolerate breakfast with no milk so probably wouldn't bother. I'd make DH go if possible though.

Those of us who wear our PJs and joggers for as much of the day as possible, and only wear ‘proper clothes’ when absolutely necessary, and… well… weirdos.

Joking. Obviously. I’d love to be one of the ‘put together’ people, but I love being comfortable even more!

I would brush teeth but yes I would just wear leggings and a tshirt and go to the shop... Don't see the what the issue is?

Why would you need to be more than that first the corner shop?

Id likely put whatever I had on yesterday with clean underwear brush my hair into a calm bun or something and go wouldn't brush teeth as I don't like my breckfast tasting of toothpaste
